I like to frequent garage/yard sales, flea markets and thrift stores quite a bit because you never know what you may find.  Here are some of the items I have purchased:

Budget bride shopping photo 1

Big tub to put ice and drinks in, bought at flea market for $10

Budget bride shopping photo 2

Sparklers that I bought off a woman on 147, silver, 20 inch sparklers

A star basket I found at a thrift store for $1, gonna use it to put the sparklers in (maybe) it keeps tipping over!  lol

I also bought a whole bunch (too many to put on here) of silver platters, silver bowls, silver tiered serving trays and oil/vinegar bottles from thrift stores and yard sales.  Some of the stuff that I thought was silver wasn't but it still looked good after I shined them up good.  But I did find alot of real silver pieces that were really cheap that you can buy at estate sales and such.  Just takes a little elbow grease to get the tarnish off but it can be a piece that you can keep for years to come.

My soon to be hubby and I will be taking our engagement pics the first weekend of October at the Grist Mill in Norris, Tennessee which is near the Norris lake/dam.  Here's a couple of pics of the mill...will post actual e-pics when we're finished
