Our wedding ceremony & reception will be taking place at the beautiful & historic Hermitage Hotel in downtown Nashville. Following the ceremony, we will have a short cocktail reception in the gorgeous main lobby of the hotel. A plated dinner, prepared by the hotel's award winning culinary team, will be served in the Veranda.

During the ceremony, Beth will be wearing a dress and veil worn by her sisters, Lori Elizabeth Scholl and Leigh Ann McIntire. She will also be wearing earrings and brooch that belonged to her late grandmother, Frances Henry and carrying her late grandfather’s, Ed Henry, pilot wings in her bouquet.

The Bride, Beth Ludwiczak, grew up in the small town of Owensboro, Kentucky. She enjoyed being the youngest of 4 children and was blessed to be raised by her wonderful parents, Jim and Martha Ludwiczak. After swimming competitively for 13 years, she hung up her towel to attend Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green. During her time at WKU, she was involved in the Chi Omega sorority and numerious club organizations & philanthropies. After obtaining her degree in Corporate & Organizational Communications/Marketing, she moved to Nashville to pursue a career in public relations, marketing, and/or events. After completing a public relations internship, she received at job at Vanderbilt University Medical Center working in the special events department. Today, she still works there as an event coordinator & loves every aspect of planning events for the Medical Center. She also shares an event planning company, Belle Soiree Events, with her sister Lori.

The Groom, Michael Kelley, grew up in Vermont, spending the bulk of his formative years in Ludlow, a small ski town in the southern part of the state. He thinks of growing up in Vermont very fondly, especially in retrospect. He has a younger sister, Christi Lynn Kelley and nephew, Brendan age 10, who still live in Vermont. His mother, Jean Taran, continues to live in Burlington, VT where she landed after selling their family home in Ludlow almost 6 years ago. His father, Neal, lives in Unity, NH with his fiance,' Chilla. In high school, he became the valedictorian of his class and a reasonable athlete. He received his undergraduate education at The George Washington University and Boston University on academic and athletic scholarship in baseball. For about five years after his college graduation, he worked at a variety of jobs including for the United States Forest Service and ended up somewhat serendipitously doing Cardiology research at Harvard for about 2 1/2 years before attending medical school in his home state at the University of Vermont College of Medicine. A career path that kind of snuck up on him. He continued on there as intern and resident in Internal Medicine and eventually Chief Medical Resident. Ultimately, he decided to pursue further fellowship training in Cardiology and thought that it would be a good time to seek out something different academically and culturally. This landed him at Vanderbilt in Nashville,TN. He will be finishing his training in June 2011 and is currently looking at private practice as well as academic practice opportunities throughout the United States to fit his working philosophy and outdoor mentality.
