The artisans at Pave' did a fabulous job of taking my design ideas and translating them into the engagement ring I've always wants. They were super friendly, easy to deal with, and reasonably priced.

Lisa did a phenomenol job on both my hair and make-up. All my facial flaws disappeared and my hair stayed put all night. She arrived on-time and had me finished on-time. She was also very generous, allowing my bridesmaids to borrow products that theyd left at home, and leaving me with touch-up products, mints, and lots of packets of Darphin products (and eye drops!) for the a.m. I must also say that hhes also super sweet, and I definitely recommend her :)

They do some of the best tasting cakes Ive had at weddings. Their base cake price is quite reasonable as well -- however, Id say their pricing scheme beyond the basic cake is a bit over the top charging extra for everything -- even for changing the tiniest thing, like having swirls all in a line rather than all over (which is one of the 3 designs offered at the base price)and we were told they would only do square cakes with fondant, and this nearly doubles the price.

We had our rehearsal dinner here. Not only was the food great, but they were so nice and accomodating, I really think I could not have done better anywhere else. They even went out of their way to cook something for my MoH when they found out, at the event, that she had a food allergy and could not eat a few items on the buffet.

Joann did a gorgeous job on my bouquet, the corsages/bouts, and altar arrangements, but the bridesmaids flowers were half the fullness that I was expecting (Id given her with a picture of exactly what Id wanted). Apparently my color choice was an exotic at the time of the wedding and, instead of calling me to say she could only get half as many flowers for the estimate price, she just made them with half as many. Also, after the wedding I received an unexpected bill we had been planning to use the existing altar flowers and freshen them up with a few extra stems. However, when the florist arrived at the church, so she found that the existing arrangement had been tossed. Very kindly, she went back to her shop and made up a new arrangement for us. Until I received the bill, I was unaware this had happened. I have mixed feelings about not being told, as well as her spending more than wed originally expected to spend on the altar flowers. But, that said, the altar arrangement was lovely.

Rick is super high energy and very experienced. He did a terrific job of keeping the dance floor moving -- this was truly a feat, since my reception had 5 hours of dancing and a very mixed crowd -- and there were several times when I think EVERYONE was dancing. He did a couple of other things that I really appreciated: 1. He checked with my husband and I several times to get feedback and make sure we were happy, 2. He checked with me before playing song requests that were "odd" (instead of ignoring the request or playing something that would have turned heads). I would definitely request him again.

The bar was placed in a public thoroughfare which made it very difficult to tell the difference between my guests and crashers. The bar had both cash items and wine/champagne provided by me, with corkage paid by me. Since there was no way to distinguish between guests and non-guests, several non-guests partook, and my father was stuck with a bill twice the size of that we were expecting. Furthermore, doors were also left open by the gift table doors that opened to a public pier. I and several of my guests had to repeatedly ask crashers to leave, and as a result of crashers at least one gift and an unknown number of envelops walked out door. D (customer service) I have very mixed feelings about the service. First off, our co-ordindator was a dear. However, at least 4 times we were presented with a new contract with an increased price. We had to deal with this even up to the very day before the wedding, when we were still receiving phone calls about further payment. Then during the reception, I was interrupted on the dance floor to point out my father, so that he could be given the corkage bill later in the night. I felt that was very rude and unnecessary. Lastly, when I told the manager about the missing gifts, he expressed no regret whatsoever, shrugged his shoulders and said our guests were going in and out so they chose to leave the doors open.
