Overall, my experience at The Fields was a positive one. The venue is simply beautiful. In the beginning, the staff was very helpful, flexible, and friendly. They let us drop in to look around or ask questions whenever we needed. The only negative aspect to the venue is that it hired many new employees right before my wedding, so the few weeks before and even the day of, no one working really knew any answers to my questions and we were told conflicting answers dealing with the decorating of the venue (what we could do/not do. One new associate was not very nice to us.) We also dealt with a very rude maintenance man (although the others we had contact with were more than accommodating.) One of the earlier reviews said that the tables were not included in the price, but they were for us- maybe a new thing they started. No table linens were provided though. One style of chair is included in the fee (regular padded dining chairs) but the white wood folding chairs they have are not included in the price and can be rented for $1 each. You also have to work around the tenants since it's an apartment complex. Despite the few staff members that I don't believe were very professional, I would recommend the venue and I'm glad I held my wedding there.
