Thanks for checking out my bio page!

I met Chawn in High School, and instantly I liked him. We met freshman year, in typing class. He was so sweet, and funny. I didn't realize that he was acting like a goof to get my attention! We became fast friends, but I never thought he liked me because he was so shy he never could ask me out. Our friendship was very special to me and it lasted all throughout high school.

After graduation, we lost touch. Years later, we would find our signatures in each others' yearbooks; mine to him encouraged him to call me over the summer (and even included my number!) and his was shy and sweet. I went off to college, and he went in the Army; we lost touch of each other.

After some time, he wound up in California, I wound up married and then divorced. We both moved back home with hopes of getting back to our roots and finding some happiness. We lived directly across the street from each other for 2 years and never knew it.

Chawn found me on facebook about 3 years ago now. I was in a relationship, and so was he. We started commenting on each other's statuses at first, then chatting together, then eventually texting. My relationship ended, and yet he had still not said a thing.

One night, I was being particularly hard on myself, and I gave him a call. He was sweet, and kind, and paid me compliments that helped raise my spirits. What I wasn't expecting was for him to tell me that he had loved me since high school, as I had him. All this time, and neither of us knew how one felt for the other. I asked him to come over that night to talk, and we have been inseparable ever since. He literally never left after that night. Nearly two months later he gave me the beautiful diamond and sapphire ring I wear on my left hand. We decided on the weekend after labor day (which happened to be 9/10/11...we are getting married at 12:13 just to be cute :) and the rest is history. We had a short courting period, less than two months, but it was 20 years in the making...and neither of us could be happier.

I've found my soulmate!
