I really need to stay off wedding blogs. They have consumed my life. I see amillion things and just add, add, add. I have hundreds of pics of invitations. love 'em all, and somehow i'm trying to take a bit of all of them to create one invite. Here are a few i love
The following are from lela new york. I love, love these invities but i called the company and if memory serves me correctly the minimum order is for 25 or 50 i think. The starting price was about $1500 for what i was inquiring about. too rich for my blood!
so i've decided to wear my hair long again. that certainly didn't last long. one month and i'm done! lol. With ample enough time to grow my hair back, here are some ideas i'm thinking of using:
Also i looked @ Pwani20's wedding hair. Her make-up was also flawless and with my skin tone its kind of hard for me to get colors i like and are flattering. i'm using her as inspiartion as well: Thanks PWANI20!!
WHO'D have thought i'd actually like this orange color. Purple is my favorite color, sometimes burgundy/cranberry and sometimes teal. guess it just depends on how i feel.
finding orange colored flowers weren't as hard as i thought it would be, there are plenty of options.
I think i want to incorporate white or ivory with the orange i don't want to over kill just that color.
WHAT I NOW WANT......
I orginally was thinking i should have a orange bouquet as well, maybe of roses or calla lillies, however i think maybe the bridesmaids should have orange bouquets and i'll have a bouquet of peonies &/or carnations. I'd even settle for calla lillies,... maybe. Looks something like this:
i would love these orange colored christian louboutins................however they're about $2,400. I'm a frugal gal so i would match rather add it to the down payment of our first home.
However...a girl can dream and she can also DIY.
I can find some orange colored heels and rhinestone the hell out of it. They must be high, i try to wear nothing lower than 4 inches, unless they are flip flops or flats ( I'm 5'3 & i need all the help i can get) found a few websites like www.rhinestones.com. hopefully my creation will come out looking close to these louboutins:
Got my shoes around january 12th 2012. The heels are high (5 1/2inches) and i saved a whole lot. instead of 2,400 louboutins i got $45 aldo's
I recently went to a bridal show the end of january and it was eye opening and overwhelming. there were so many ideas and vendors. i also showed me how sometimes simplicity is way better(and cheaper) than all the glitz. look what a difference simple single stem roses, votives and tea lghts can make. and also plastic crystal beads that you may be able to get at possibly any craft store.
here are some other ideas i got online, both simple and elborate, however all beautiful:
UPDATE!!!....now i'm in love with blingy shiny things. go figure. i don't want an overcrowded table, just enough snap crackle and POP! how about this?
