I'm sure I'm missing a ton of other things but for now this is progress. ;o)
I had so many ideas as to what to do for our table numbers, but I finally made a decision and decided to DIY them. I had been admiring these fabulous jeweled 4X6 picture frames and I finally purchased them for $6.99 each. I found some inspiration from our very own PW bride hottiebun as seen below. I created 14 slides in powerpoint, picked a pretty font, found some damask symbols online, then googled some "wedding" defintions and VOILA! DIY table numbers.
I finally ordered my STDs today from Shutterfly.com and even got an $11.88 discount (some promo they had) AWESOME! It took me forever but I finally managed to sit with my coworker today, besides all the craziness at work and finish this bad boy up. I bought A7-5X7 envelopes from AC Moore and now I can't wait for them to arrive so I can send them. I'm so happy with how they turned out. ;O)
I've been looking high and low and found the perfect STDs. I wanted something different and fun that related to how my FI and I met. I figured I'd use the chance to be less formal and use a bus route or some sort of map including a timeline of how we met. If you've read my bio my FI and I met on line waiting for the bus. Only problem is it was quite expensive to do, since I wanted to add some extra details to this save the date. I came up with a great idea. My coworker who is phenomenal with Illustrator will be doing something similar for me for FREE! :) I will be printing these bad boys myself at work IF I have time for DIY project. If not, I will use vistaprint.com since they include envelopes and I can probably use an online coupon. Fabulous!
I'm in LOVE with these invites! They look very vintage and the font and flourishes are perfection. I'm looking into maybe do something like this but of course in my colors of purple/grey.
Despite all the craziness with the unexpected snow, FI and I drove about 40 minutes away...determined to choose our rides for the wedding this past weekend. We ended up renting the 1962 Bentley limo for ourselves, which is in great condition with updated AC, leather seats, etc. I love its classic style and elegance.
We also rented a 10 passenger Chrysler 300, which is BRAND spanking new! The inside of the car is a party in itself with neon lights, leather seats, and great stereo system. Figured we let the bridal party start their fun EARLY, on their way to the church and the reception.
