So the wedding is over and everything was so amazing. Much better than I had hoped. I was so anxious to see everything coming together and it did just fine. Everyone complimented us on all the little details. We're still waiting for the pro pictures, so in the meantime here's a few non-pro.
on June 5, we had our civil service at the court house. It was a very short intimat wedding with just our parents and our witnesses. We are really looking forward to our big day in 3 weeks. I got to wear my birdcage veil that I had bought for the "real" wedding but decided it doesn't match.
The Best man and the ring bearer will wear a similar suit as the groom. However, they will not have tails.
These are the dresses of my MOH and the flower girl. I don't have any pictures of them in their dresses.
and here's what the mother of the bride chose to wear
Yay! We have booked our honeymoon. We're going to the Seychelles.
4 nights at the luxurios Denis Island Lodge on the private Denis Island.
Then we move on to Praslin Island where we will stay at the Constance Lémuria Resort for 5 nights
To finish off our Seychelles journey we will have another 5 nights at the Le Méridien Les Barbarons on the main island, Mahé.
On our way back home we will have a 3 night stop-over in Dubai and hit the shopping malls.
We are DIY-ing all of our stationary
Our Save-the-Dates, which were sent out by e-mail:
These are our invitations. We needed a lot of space for all the information and we needed to have them in 2 languages as we have guests from different countries. We do not really have wedding monograms in Switzerland but after seeing them on PW I had to have one as well. It's simple but we like it. We will use it on all of our stationary.
