Candy Apple Favours
Who doesn't like candy apples? I haven't met a person yet who doesn't so we figured it would be a safe bet. Yummy, traditional and in the matching themed colour of our wedding they will make a great addition. We plan on using them to set up the seating chart as well. They will be placed, wrapped, according to which table you'll be sitting at. Plus this could be a good opportunity to swap your candy apple with your returned mason jar.
Going along with the invitation design here is our "Thank You" card that will be attached to each candy apple favour.

Rustic Wedding Cake
We decided to DIY when it comes to the cake. It's going to be really simple in design. Three round tiers with rustic cream icing and graham crumbs along the bottom of each tier. The cake itself will be yellow or white with raspberry filling. The cake will be presented on a thick wood slab with accents of flexible branches around the base.
I found these delightful creations on etsy.com by kikuike who is in Japan. It was a long wait for them to be made to my specifications, but when they arrived they were perfect. I specifically wanted plain penguins, nothing fancy. We chose penguins because they choose only one partner for their entire life. Bobby is my penguin.

Kusudama Origami Paper Flower

The boutonnieres will be a single flower, brown material wrapped around a wire stem, garnish is yet to be decided on, but there will be a pearl pin to hold it in place. Only the groomsmen and Fathers will be wearing the boutonnieres. Bobby found a pocket square that matches his tie so he will be wearing it instead. He can't wear both because it looks too busy.
