For the ceremony Bobby is going for the very classic black suit, crisp white shirt and a matching red silk paisley tie and pocket square. He won't be wearing a boutonierre because it's too busy with the tie and pocket square. If he has it his way it will be a Georgio Armani suit and Salvatore Ferragamo shoes. We shall see. And we can't forget his groom's gift from me, his black Gucci watch.
Classic in Red
I have asked the ladies to find a dress that is knee length and in a shade of red. We decided to let the ladies decide what style to wear because I want them to all feel comfortable and still feel like themselves. Besides pulling of one style of dress for a group of women with different body types is very difficult!
Here are some inspirations of red dresses I like
I want to keep the bridesmaids makeup very classic. The black cat eye can be shaped to suit any eye shape so it's perfect idea. Haven't decided whether i want them to wear red lipstick too, we will have to wait and see.
Again, each lady is individually special. I want them to have their hair done professionally but in a way they would like to wear it. Most likely there will be a few straightening and a few loose curls. I'm expecting each of them to wear their hair down though.
I have bought the ladies a neckace and a bracelet as their gift which I hope they will wear the day of the wedding. I also picked up some hair flowers that they have the option of wearing if they like them. To complete the outfit I have asked them to wear black heels, whichever style to compliment their dress but not too flashy.
So in order to make things fair and easy on my heart strings I decided to go with my two sisters and Bobby's two sisters as my BMs. I won't be having a MOH because I simply can't pick a favourite!
Here they are though my ladies in red.
Alessa:: My youngest sister will 15 years old when the wedding rolls around. She is a little fire cracker!
Sandi:: My middle sister who will be 17 the same month as the wedding. She is the shy nerdy one of the family
Jessica:: Bobby's youngest sister. Cute and bubbly, she will rock wearing a red dress!
Jennifer:: Bobby's older sister. The Tessier celebrity with her beautiful singing voice will be gracing us with song
No Flower Girl?
***No flower girl or ring bearer because we have made the decision that this wedding is an adult only event. The youngest attendee will be my youngest sister, who will be 15 the time of the wedding. Just wanted the adults to all have a good time and not have any young minds corrupted!
Kusudama Paper Origami Flowers

I fell in love with this photo inspiration and just had to make these flowers. I think Iwanted to be proud of them when I see them the day of the wedding. I aimed to make 30 flowers for the bridal bouquet, 15 flowers for each bridesmaid, and a small 10 flower toss bouquet.
Inspiration & Reality
Step by Step Kusudama Flowers
What you need for this tutorial is:
- 60 pieces of paper cut into squares. The pieces are each 7 x 7 cm or 3 inches square.
Fold the bottom corner to the top. This will make a triangle.
Fold the left and right corners up to the middle corner. This makes a square.
Fold the same points down. The folded edge will line up exactly on top of the outside edge of the square.
Open up the flaps you have just created and flatten them.
Fold the top triangles towards you so they are level with the edges of the paper. (This will result in 3 little petals on the inside of your petal; if you fold the top triangles away from you, this will result in only 1 petal on the inside of the petal – see variation on pattern below.)
Fold the triangles back using the crease you made earlier and glue the outside triangles together.
Now make 5 more of these petals and glue them all together. Make sure you wait until the glue is dry after every petal and take your time.
Make Me Beautiful
I want to have that special wedding day glow with classical makeup that bring out my best feature, my eyes. Not big on lip stick so a nude lip is ideal. I have an amazing makeup artist who is the same artist that did my makeup for my engagement shoot. She knows her stuff, Andrea from MAC Cosmetics.

Hairstyles I Like
I am not sure what I want to do with my hair. It has to go with my floor length cathedral veil but I also want it to be versatile so if I want to take it down later it will still look good like long curls. I am in the process of growing out my hair and have purchased extensions to give me that extra va-va-voom!
Yesterday I went for my hair trial at Salon Niccio in Ottawa. I told the hair stylist I wanted a versatile hair do that I could take down later in the night and it would still look sexy. I told her my style was sutle and soft. This is what she came up with.
