I have completely neglected my poor profile :(
So, we are just over a year from our big day, and I feel like I both have SO MUCH left to do, and almost nothing.
So far, we have booked our venue, I have my dress and headpiece, and we have picked our attendants. We have a pretty good idea for rings, and we are currently in contact with a bunch of photographers to find one that fits our teensy budget.
My biggest challenge right now is finding something for my girls to wear. I have bounced around so many different ideas, and I have NO IDEA what I want anymore. Add that to the fact that they have two very different body types, and I am super stressed.
I don't even know what wedding colors I want. I thought I was set on purple. Now I am eyeing pewter. And then since it is a summer wedding, I want it to be bright and fun. However, I know fiance has his limits as far as what colors he will wear. So my definition of bright won't work... as pink, yellow and orange are out of the picture (for him).
So... yeah. I am a little lost right now.
So I think I found my BM dresses :) I just hope they come back in stock again before my wedding...

I also like these, but my mom really doesn't...

So from what I have seen, these bio pages are like wedding blogs. Which is awesome, because that is what I need. First... a little bit about me:
I have been engaged just over a week, and I am already knee-deep in planning. And I love every minute of it!!
My fiancée and I have a very limited budget. What's more, we would rather spend money on a house AFTER the wedding, than blow all our money on one (admittedly amazing) day.
I live in Canada, and I have Fibromyalgia and Ulcerative Colitis. I am 23. Does having two chronic conditions suck? You bet your butt it does! But I have an amazing support system (fiancée included) and I try very hard not to let it ruin my life.
I like to read, write, sing, dance, be in musicals, do makeup, cook, bake, and play with my dog. I am a gamer girl, though not as hardcore as some.
That's me in a nutshell!
Next up: My how-to on my "Will you be my bridesmaid" cards... sometime this week :)
