When searching for a photographer, I checked out numerous websites & contacted many photographers via email. I'm so happy that I happened to come across some of Amanda's photos when looking into a prospective venue. Immediately, I checked out her website and contacted her. I was very pleased with her online portfolio, and she seemed very nice. Amanda was the only photographer that was worth a one on one appointment with my husband and I. When we met with Amanda, we loved her personality & professionalism. She was super organized and had plenty of samples of her work for us to view. Once we met with her, we knew she was the photographer for us...and we were not disappointed with our choice. She did a fabulous job with both our engagement and wedding photos. She made it painless to take so many photos, and she ensured to capture every moment! Even our groomsmen were surprised that it was so easy & couldn't believe they were allowed to go have fun after the group photos. We have also received numerous compliments from our family & friends and they have all said that the quality of our photos look great! If you book Amanda, you will not be disappointed.

Beverly Hills DJ Company - The Wedding Reception Experts

We hired Fabian to dj & mc for our wedding. He was very professional, organized, and always on time. On the day of our wedding, he checked in with us on numerous occasions to ensure that we had everything we needed and things were on track. My only complaints are 1) I felt that he and his wife (assistant) were kind of pushy when trying to get us to sign the contract. 2) Fabian ended up playing numerous songs that were not on our must play list, and many of the songs that were on our list did not get played. That was disappointing, especially since I mentioned it to him during the reception. 3) Fabian lives in Covina, so he made my husband and I travel to a coffee shop near him for most of our meetings. I feel that he was not very accommodating in regards to meetings, I feel like he could have at least met us half way. Although I made the suggestion, it was disregarded.

City of Commerce Flowers

Initially, I met with Eddie and we had a very good meeting. I provided him with photos of different types of bouquets and arrangements I liked, and the flowers/colors I had in mind. He wrote everything out, gave me an estimate, & provided me with a copy of everything. A few weeks after our meeting, we met again & he showed me a mock-up of my bouquet and one centerpiece. I was happy with both, and loved that I didn't have to submit a deposit unless I was happy with the samples.

One month prior to the wedding I contacted Eddie to schedule a final appointment to make a few minor changes, and submit the final payment. On the day of our appointment, I found out that Eddie was ill and Duke offered to meet with me to finalize the details. I was a little concerned since I had never met him before, and the reviews for Duke weren't the best. Luckily, he was very nice and understood my vision completely. On the day of my wedding, all of our flowers were delivered on time and they were gorgeous! In addition, they had to take our altar arrangements after the ceremony to our reception venue. They did this on time, and did not charge an extra fee. I could not be happier with my decision to go with City of Commerce Flowers.

Rio Hondo Event Center

My husband and I chose RHEC as it was close to our ceremony location, the prices were reasonable (considering numerous items such as linens, votive candles, flatware, etc. are included in the pricing), and the venue was very nice. Oh, the pricing for the chivari chairs was fairly low compared to other places ($6 ea). The views of the golf course and waterfall from the terrace are pretty awesome.

Although our wedding was spectacular, and we received many compliments on the venue and decor...there are a few things that were a challenge: 1)Mark Sr. was not always easy to get a hold of. He had mentioned that he could respond to emails quickly as he received email alerts via his phone. Surprisingly enough, it sometimes took him over a week to reply even if I sent a follow up email. In addition, he would sometimes meet with us while coordinating an event or meeting with other customers so keep that in mind when attempting to schedule a meeting. 2) During our food tasting we mentioned that the protein dishes (we went with the classic buffet) were rather dry. He said that it wouldn't be the case during our event, and was very surprised that we had a negative comment regarding the food (it tasted good, it was just too dry). On our wedding day, some of the hot dishes were a bit cold and the protein dishes were still dry.

Rossmoor was recommended to us by our venue coordinator. I'm not a big fan of cake, and neither is my husband so we weren't exactly looking forward to the cake tasting. We ended up having a great experience during our visit. Not only did we receive exceptional service, but they had a variety of flavors and designs to choose from. In addition, their prices are reasonable. One month before our wedding, I scheduled a meeting to make 1 minor change and pay the final balance. I was so excited on our wedding day to see that our cake was perfect, it looked just as I had imagined it. We received many compliments from our guests regarding the great taste of our cake.
