The picture on the left is kind of dark but these were our centerpieces. I'll try to find a better pic cause I don't think this one does it justice. For the kids at the wedding, we ended up having a separate menu for them and needed a subtle yet defined way to explain that the food was for Kids Only! lol. So we ended up making them little goody bags and filled them with yo-yos, play-doh, coloring books, crayons, etc. On the front of the bag we attached the menus of what the kids would be eating.
After what felt like a zillion tries, we finally got the picture! We plan on using this pic for our thank you cards.
I was so pleased at the way these turned out. They photographed really well and made nice accent pieces down the isle.
It was really important for me to have a picture of my grandpa on my bouquet. I think our florist did an amazing job putting it all together.
So we knew we wanted something different and unique for our wedding favors, but we didn't know what. It finally hit me while I was shopping at Target that I really wanted to do something earth-friendly and yet cheap! lol. That's basically why we decided to go with these bags.
We ended up writing a little poem on the tag of the bag that read:
We thank you for attending our special day,
And in return have an eco-friendly gift to give away.
It's not conventional by any means,
But we appreciate your efforts to be green!
