I did a Rock the Dress Shoot with Bella Rosa Photography on 2/15/13. It was tons of fun and we got some pretty awesome shots! She was looking to expand her portfolio, so of course I offered to be the model! Here are some of my favs!!
I decided to stay around my home town and have a girls night in photo shoot! It was the best decision! I had a lot of girls, so it would have been too exhausting to try to get everyone organized out for dinner or a club. I found this photographer on Craigslist, and she was AMAZING! I wish I would have found her earlier!!
We also had the same make up artist do our makeup! The only thing we didn't have was a hair person. I did most people's hair. lol. Top knots for everybody!! Of course, my hair was the worst, I should have had somebody else do mine!! It was a fun time though. We had pizza and drinks and jello shots, and the half of us that were still around at the end of the night went to a gay club to dance!
Where we stayed. Literally 1 mile from where I lived.
Me and 3 out of 5 bridesmaids
Of course there's got to be a jumping pic! lol.
It was an absolute blast!!! I would recommend doing a photo shoot if you like that sort of thing!! With hotel room, dinner, photographer, and makeup, it came to about $100/person. Not too bad!!!
Robbie Rousseau Photography did our Videography. It was his first wedding, so we got a great deal, and he gained a lot of experience on what to do/what not to do! I love what he came up with! If you are really specific with what you want, then I suggest splurging on a professional videographer. We weren't going to hire one, but we couldn't pass up this deal and I am SO HAPPY we did!!
If you want to see me make a fool of myself on the dance floor watch the full length video here: (15 min)
If you want to short and sweet recap of the day, watch the day after edit here: (4 min)
The photog had me 'spin around' which which have been cool with a shorter dress, but I just felt a little funny doing it in my dress. Luckily there were a few good shots out of it. Haha. Only a few not so good ones...I won't post those...(maybe if somebody starts a funny pic thread) ;)

Such a beautiful day/night
We had bundt cakes as centerpieces on some tables, so I bought dollar store cake cutters and decorated them. Although our DJ didn't do a great job emcee(ing) and a lot of people didn't know they could cut and eat their own cakes. Oh well.
The dollar store cake stands I made :) The DOC of the venue kept them just in case somebody needed some in the future.
I thought this was hilarious. Aunt Luann put our faces in our cake. I had used some old Save the Dates as a backing for our cupcake circles with our initials on it, and our faces were the back of some of them, but she stuck them right in our cake. It's pretty cool, just funny because I had no idea until I looked closer!
Cupcakes were demolished
Favors, my toss bouquet
We won that frog as a door prize at a crab feed...it was a kick that night, and we still have it and put it up in various places. We love it! lol. I'm glad the photog got a funny picture of it!
Something old, something new, something borrowed...
NBD, just had 16x20 portraits of ourselves made. Can somebody say, "Will Ferrell?" lol. They didn't get put up until the end so I was a little peeved. haha.
