It started on * September 5th 2009 * ... meeting him at Starbucks, trecking over to Trader Joes and heading to the Connecticut River on a hot day for a swim. My first thought ... his sandals are silly !! Such a masculine guy, wearing those things ... nah ... but our chairs in the water and feet in the sand, he reached over and put his hand on top of mine ... my heart jumped ... and the story of "us" began.

Two years from the day of our first day we're getting married ... * September 5th 2011 *

The Ring ... the MOST PERFECT ring was given to me on April 16th 2011. My little dachshund puppy, Maddy, came out of the bedroom with a bow around her neck. With a little shake, out popped the ring and my future hubby got down on one knee. That's when I knew I'd be the future Mrs. Reece.

The Venue ... what other place could be so perfect, then the place of our first kiss ... which just happened to be a castle. We will exchange our vows in a private ceremony at Gilette Castle and celebrate with family and friends down the road at the Gelston House, overlooking the Connecticut River.

The Invitations ... are trolley tickets to commemorate the atmosphere being that a trolley station is on the other side of the river. The guest detached the periforated edge and send it back along.

The Cake Topper ... given to us by my future mother-in-law are bride and groom dachshunds ... perfectly fitting because we have two dachshunds, Bear & Maddy

The Favors ... one word, lollicakes. Wrapped in cellphane with a light blue ribbon and favor tag attached.

The Guestbook ... a hand-painted fingerprint guestbook on a canvas. Guests will dip their thumb onto an ink pad and place it on the canvas and sign their name to it. A perfect decoration in our home.

My Shoes ... I am totes not the traditional bride. So yes, they're blue and they are converse ... and they * sparkle *

My Makeup ... bright and fresh. Green and yellow eyeshadow will do the trick.
