My inspiration, I just love how romantic this looks! I want a mix of peonies and hydrangeas.
I want to DIY these lovelies for my bridesmaids, plus they can keep them forever!
Peonies of course! Courtesy of Vista Print, and the price is a steal! Everything here can be personalized right down to the type of paper and the envelope seals! This is obviously pre-edit!
I plan on having the girls wear pink, I really like these dresses from David's Bridal, comfortable and very cute. I will probably throw some cardigans in.
This is the look I'm going for:
My maid of honor is my very good friend Evelyn. We only met about a year ago, but this girl took me in when I had no place to go, gave me a job, and is one of the best people I've ever met!
Heather has been a long time friend of mine, she's pure joy all around, hilarious, and we are incredibly stupid together. Love her!
My beautiful sister Kelley (on the right) we were the closest in age and the best of friends growing up. She's still such a major part of my life, lost without her!
My sister Samantha, we always butted heads growing up but since we've become adults I find she and I to be the most alike. She's due in May and getting married Sept 2012, so excited!
My lovely friend Michelle, incredibly silly, always happy, a wonderful mother, and I know she'll be the first one on the dance floor!
My baby sister Olivia, I never really knew how deep love could be until she was born. I was 16 and totally unaffected by the world. I love her like my own and I'm so excited to have her as my flower girl, she truly has such a kind heart, and it's scary how much of a little me she is! Haha I love this photo, I busted her eating out of the fridge when mommy said no!
We haven't decided what to do food wise, we may cook or we may hire a caterer. So far this is what I've thrown around dessert wise, a lot of DIY baking!
This project was so easy and fun! I'm so in love with it <3 Excuse my crappy phone pictures and tiger nails!
Cost: about $20
Materials from Michaels:
Super Glue--to secure the glitter tape
Rhinestone glue--works better than super glue on the candle (go figure)
Martha Stewart rhinestone flowers
2 Taper Candles
Glass taper candle holder
We're looking into Lenola Fireman's Memorial Hall. It's in Moorestown New Jersey, about half way between his family and mine. It's pretty, a steal, we can use our own caterer or we can cook there, and there are a lot of state parks near by. We are planning on heading out that way to check out ceremony locations. We also can decorate anyway we wish. They provide bartenders, ice and soda, tables and chairs, a 5 hour reception, and it seats 350 people for $1500. Did I tell you it was a steal or what?!
I plan on having white table cloths with baby's breath centerpieces, pink taper candles, and peony accents at the base.
