I had the same problem that customer "Joy" reported on 1/1/11. I tried to use a coupon code and I knew it would only work if I registered for an account, which I did and saw the discount on my order form. I then received a confirmation email with a different amount than my order. I was charged the original amount without the coupon. I called them one hour after customer service opened, and they said the coupon didn't work because I didn't open an account. I explained that I know I did because the coupon/discount would not have worked without me creating the account first and I did see the discount on my final order, but then got a different confirmation. They were not willing to adjust the total. The girl did mention they had some technical problems with that coupon code. I wanted to cancel the order and re-order using the coupon code, but she said the order had already been shipped (I placed the order at 1:00 am, called at 10:00 am, and it already left the warehouse...hard to believe)! I later checked UPS tracking, and the order wasn't picked up from them until later that evening. I wrote an email to their customer service department and they responded by basically saying, "too bad, you didn't create an account and we refuse to believe you." I noticed shortly after my complaint, they removed the coupon code from the website where I found it.
