Stats of Wedding (as of 04-20-2012):

Things are starting to come together nicely.  I have booked most of the major vendors, and the only things that are left to be done can only be done closer to the time period.  I am trying to not get too wound up about the wedding details, because I figure that it wont do me any good to worry about things that, in the grand scheme of things, are out of my control.  All I can do is try to inspire a fun time for ourselves and for our guests.

There have been quite a few changes in directions since I started planning this wedding, most noticeably my choice of centerpieces.  I got a sweet deal in floral arrangements and centerpieces, so I am no longer DIY-ing those.  Which is a good thing, because its one less thing to worry about on the day of.  However, I had already started purchasing the materials for my original centerpieces, so I will need to sell those materials.  If anyone is interested in purchasing the stems featured in the picture below, please let me know (Private Message please)!

I have sixteen bunches available for purchase.  For the above centerpiece, I used two bunches.

I bought these bunches from Michaels, however, I can no longer return them because I bought them a while back.  I tried returning a few, and they looked at me like I was a weirdo.  Or a thief.

As to the rest, the invites are almost set to print (Thank you "DIY Wedding Challenge: Semi DIY Pocket Fold Invitations" for the great directions!), and the favors are in the process of being made.  Its exciting (and a little bewildering) to think that there are only five months left...

The color scheme is working out better then I thought it would.  In all honesty, I never in my wildest dreams would have thought of this color combination.  So really, whoever made the inspiration board, my heartfelt thanks!  You are a genius!!

Color Inspiration Board:  I wish I knew who to give proper credit (and thanks) for this...
