Anne Mendenhall Flowers
( 5.0 / 5.0 )
I just want to say how amazing my flowers were on my wedding day. My husand and I decided on a destination wedding, which we had recently on 8/10/08. We got married at Auberge du Soleil in Rutherford, California. We hadnt met Anne Mendenhall since we live so far away, but she came highly recommended by our wedding planner. We spoke on the phone a few times and went over all the details of the wedding and how we wanted our flowers and decor. What she did for us that day EXCEEDED our expectations. I was astonished on how perfect everything was, from the colors to the meticulousness of how the tables, fountains, and bouquets were arranged. The flowers were exquisite and the colors were so rich. We got so many compliments on them. My husband and I just want to re-iterate that she is a wonderful artist and floral expert. Not only did she come from afar to make our wedding day unforgettable, but she obviously took a lot of time to have everything look perfect. To walk into your ceremony and reception with a only concept that came true to life with such beauty, I can only categorize it as a fairy tail.

Bianchi Salon - Grazia West
( 1.0 / 5.0 )
I went to Grazia Bianchi salon on 8/10/08, my wedding day and brought many of the bridal party, friends and family from the East coast and one from Italy, to have services done. When I made arrangements to go to Grazia Bianchi salon for my wedding day, I thought she was really nice since she opened the salon for us on that Sunday (normally she is closed). Did we pay the price for that. Not only is Grazia, the owner, rude and inconsiderate, she calls me the day before and has me come in an hour early (9 am).Of course, most of my guests were flying in or coming in from out of town and couldn't make it earlier. In any event, a bunch of us did show on time, but when the others were late, Grazia and another stylist were complaining (in front of us) about us. When my sister approached her about it, she said she was upset that her manicurist didn't show. Anyway, Patricia (our manicurist) and Ally (another stylist) were very nice. Then came the price. She charged $75 for a blow-out, when she said it would be $55 (up do was $75). She over charged my cousin, a fellow native Italian, for her blow-out. When we said something about it,she again was rude and said "what do you think, we open up the salon, and then you dont want to pay?". The salon wasnt event that upscale, with older equipment no bathing facilities for your feet. I do not recommend this salon. I had a bad experience on my wedding day and do not want anyone else to go through that. Besides, there are better equipped salons in Napa and stylists that will come to your home for comparable prices. Grazia Bianchi better learn some people skills because in this economy, she cant afford to have that attitude.
