Wouldn't the little angels look darling in these tutus?
Michaels had a HUGE sale on all Christmas trimming, so I couldn't resist getting these gorgeous baskets to use as the FG baskets.
And all my DIY was threading a purple ribbon through the bottom.
Ramon and I have been dating since June 16, 2001. We are truehigh school sweethearts!! After 4 years of dating, I started getting the "I want to get married" itch. Year after year I sworn to myself that this is it! This is the year he will pop the question. Well, to my surprise, it never happened. Until.....
Thursday, December 25th, 2008! and here's how it went.
Ramon and I were on our way to midnight mass (Christmas eve) and running a little behind schedule. When we arrived it was about 5 minutes till midnight. I was freaking out that we were going to be late. Ramon on the other hand was totally chilled. Not trippen at all. I thought to myself that it was a little odd since he is a huge stickler about time. Anyways, we found parking and started speed walking to the church. As we approached the front Ramon asked me to turn around. I annoyingly did and to my surprise the moment had arrived. Exactly the strike of midnight Ramon got on one knee and opened a box showcasing my ring. And out came the magic words "Jaryce, will you marry me?" I was jumping up and down. We kissed and EVERYONE was cheering for us and congratulating us on our engagement as they were rushing in the church to find a seat.
Not too long ago I told him about my dream proposal. How I wanted it to be on Christmas day and in front of my WHOLE family. That would've have been ideal for me. But when I think about it, I am so happy he proposed the way he did. Nothing is better than asking me on God's front steps, just him and I. It was so intimate and memorable. I wouldn't trade that feeling at that very moment for the world!
Here are a few pics of my bling and with my husband-to-be!!
Thanks to Kohler for the inspiration and genae for the wonderful poems, I was able to complete my first DIY project.
I bought the stationary as a kit from Office Depot. The bridesmaid dress stamps, swarovski crystals and satin ribbon were all purchased from Michael's Crafts Store.
I'm also very proud of my DIY invitations. I used the Edward Script text in color Aubergine and sealed the envelope with a waxed sealer purchased from Office Depot.
I have never been so excited for my BM's look until now. I FINALLY found the perfect dress for them. I'm going for the goddess look for my girls. Empire waist, chiffon material, floor length, yada yada yada... well my search has officially ended.
INTRODUCING the OH SO FABULOUS Bari Jay and his drop dead gorgeous design.
<--- in the eggplant color
To coordinate with the rest of the all white florals, it only makes sense that the BM's hold a smaller version of my bouquet. An all white bouquet consisting of nothing but white/cream roses wrapped in a gold ribbon.
CUSTOM MADE HAIR FLOWERS
Thank you Christina from All That Zazz for making my girls the perfect hair flower.
(I will be adding more as I go along)

This Matte Satin quilted clutch handbag is made by The Dessy Store. It comes in many colors, so I know when I decide my bridesmaids dresses this will be able to go with anything!!
Team Bride tanks would make for a perfect photo op when getting ready for the BIG DAY. Here is a teaser of one of the custom made tanks. Its a sheer long racerback tank in Plum Purple from Bridal Party Tee's. I hope to be able to add rhinestones for a little bling...eye candy.
