WOW is all I've got to say! This was a suuuper major chore... for all of us! I decided to create a formal ceremony program. Formal it was. It took meand about a crew of 5 a whole week to assemble them! Don't even ask how long it took to design them... I'd rather not say! lol.
Now these bad boys.... were truly a labor of love... to say the least. lol About 20 hours of tweaking everything and 9 pages later.... I leave you with our formal catholic ceremony programs! =)
The lovely letterpressed cover to include a knot satin ribbon =)
When you first open the program, the guests be greeted by the loooong entourage list and will notice (hopefully) the cute little...
TEARS OF JOYS PACKETS!! (Thanks Jess143 for this idea!)
I worked countless hours to get the sheet music to cooperate! But it was sooo worth it!
OUR Thank you page
and of course.... directions leading to the venue!
This was the perfect way to end the night! We had everyone line up in two paralel lines. We ran through and everyone was clapping and cheering for us. At the end of the stairs, our SOMETHING BLUE awaited our arrival. My aunt and uncle were kind enough to serve us as the "gettaway driver" in their 1979 SS Camero! It was a HIT!!
Our cake cutting was yet another amazing moment. We actually had our cake stationed in the cocktail/bar room and sat as the centerpiece of that room. So that meant we had to cut the cake outside of the ballroom which meant whoever wanted to witness this event had to get up from their chair and walk into another room. I thought this would be an issue, but to my surprise, the room was filled with our guests. That's what made it so amazing!
Ramon and I decided on Donation Favors. We figured the best gift is the gift of giving. And what better way to accomplish that is by giving our guests 3 tokens. Each token signified $1. They were three charities to choose from. Breast Cancer Research Foundation, 4 The World and . They had the option to drop one token or drop all in the charity of their choice. At the end of the night, the DJ tallied up the tokens and announced how much would be donated to each charity. It was a HUGE hit!
Here, it is plain to see that everyone enjoyed choosing where they would like their donation to go. Everyone came up to me and thank Ramon and I for having a thought and selfless favor.
After the toasts and dances we decided to quickly break bread. All our guests had a choice of three entrees. Chicken Breast, Prime Rib or Halibut. Ramon and I ordered all 3 to share and boy oh boy, it sure was finger-licking mmmm-mmmm gooood! The prime rib was sooo juicy, the chicken stuffing was amazing and the halibut, well, that's all I got to say is HALIBUT! Nuff said ;)
My Maid of Honor did a wonderful job delivering her speech. You could totally tell her nerves were out to get her. But as always, she pulled through!! Oh, what would I do with out this girl?! Ramon's Best Man also made a great speech! Ca yo believe they have been bff's for 20 years?! I love that!
