The service and selection are fabulous, if you have a solid budget to work with. There are no dresses for under $3,000, but there's a large selection. They have a sample sale twice a year - two of my friends ended up purchasing their dresses at a large discount. The downside to the sample sale is that you have to buy your dress that day, and you have to bring it home with you. Otherwise, they keep your dress until the last minute and get it all prepped for your wedding day. If you're looking for Reem Acra dresses, this is the place to go! I had 2 fittings - at the first one, my mom noticed that some of the beadwork on my Reem didn't line up at the back seam, so the MM seamstress fixed it for me - she did a beautiful job. My alterations were about $450 after they bustle, the reworking of the beads, and taking in the bust about 2 inches...pricey, but worth it. I've seen other friends' dresses from cheaper alteration places, and you can definitely tell because the beading doesn't lay flat, or the hem is the wrong length. I had a huge layer of crenolin underneath that the seamstress helped to turn into a removable piece so that I could actuall sit at the reception. Fabulous service and great options - just make sure you have the budget for it!

Todd is amazing!!!! He has shot all of my friends' weddings and is well worth the premium. His prices range from as low as $5,000 (Sundays or off-season) to $7,500 (in peak season). He is professional and good at crowd control. The only complaint from my family was that he's so focused on the bride/groom that he doesn't really pay any attention to the parents. Not at all a problem for me, the bride! We loved his engagement shots - we went out to Half Moon Bay (his standard location) because we arranged the shoot a little late in the game. He's willing to go anywhere in the bay area as long as your schedule is flexible.

Andy is a pleasure to work with. He is incredibly professional and detailed. Our guests didn't even know that he was there videotaping them until they saw the finished product! We love the video - my father in law has shown it to EVERYONE who drops by their home. Every friend has told us how impressed they were by Andy's editing. He is able to capture the mood of the evening perfectly and translate it into a beautiful piece of art. I wasn't thrilled at the idea of having a video, having seen so many cheasy ones in the past. But, I LOVE our video - you can check it out at his website ( and see for yourself! We're the "Advanced Highlight" in the samples section. I HIGHLY recommend Andy and Blue Moon Productions!

I loved working with Shawna for my wedding. She is wonderfully creative! My husband and I paid for the flowers ourselves (as opposed to dad picking up the bill for the rest of the night) so we were on a strict budget of $3000. Shawna worked with us to deliver exactly what we wanted and provided great ideas to cut back in un-noticed areas. I had a bouquet made entirely of red peonies in the middle of January - stunning! Shawna's fun to work with, professional, and extremely good at what she does. She also gives a sizable discount for paying in cash!
