Getting married fall 2012! The date has changed a couple times, but it's still far enough away that won't create problems for us. It will be a church wedding, with some traditional, pop, and contemporary songs. I love music, so I'll tell you a bit about the music:
At Last by Etta James will be the bridesmaids song. Now a bittersweet choice with the passing of this great lady.
Storybook Love, an instrumental song from Princess Bride will be the Bridal Processional.
Joyful Joyful We Adore Thee will be the recessional. UNLESS we go with a more upbeat song, which would be
Wedding March Remix. I know, 2 pretty different songs, but both great in their own way.
I'm deciding on prelude music. I want to have at least 1/2 hour of music before the ceremony, and I think I want it to be from my laptop, not live - not sure yet. But I'm finding some great prelude choices here:

I am thinking oranges and tans for colors, but I also really like gray for a fall wedding - maybe that's weird? But I just think it's a gentle color and very soothing, if it's the right shade of grey. Four bridesmaids and groomsmen.
David has been really involved in the planning so far - I know some guys leave it up to the girl, but I'm so happy that he cares enough to make it a project for the two of us. And he's not just pretending - he really cares about the wedding and what it says about us, and who will be coming, and so on!
