I am frustrated with the way things panned out with Angelina from AT Makeup Pro. I had scheduled my trial with her 3 weeks prior and everything was already set for November 1, Saturday at 9:00 am at my cousin's residence. I have our email thread as proof here. Come November 1, I woke up at 8:00 am to wash and dry my hair (as instructed) and have it ready for her to do my hair and makeup. At about 9:30 am she still wasn't there, nor called me either. I called her and left her a message reminding her of the trial. She calls me back close to 10:00 am. She said that it was her assistant's fault and was told that the trial was at 10:30 am! Where did that come from? What frustrates me was that I was setting the schedule up with Angelina the entire time! She said her assistant gives her the schedule in the mornings and made a big mistake. She did apologize profusely and said this has never happened before and was asking if I was still available the rest of the day. Admittingly so, she was very nice throughout our phone calls. However, I decided not to push through with the trial as I do not want to risk this happening on the DAY of my wedding.

My cousin brought me here because this is where she got her dress. Chantelle was the one who helped me out. First she let me choose what I wanted to try on, so I tried on a couple. One of them I really liked which was the Maggie Sottero "Vienna". Then Chantelle goes, let me select some gowns which I think will suit you. She chose a couple and I ended buying Chantelle's pick! It was the Pronovias "Nectar". I trust them because they know what they're doing. After I bought the gown I got buyer's remorse and called Monica at the shop to let her know my feelings. She was very patient with me. I went back and brought my FI's sister and then my sister to check out the dress. After 2 visits I was sure this was the one. It's funny because Susie said she knew in the end that I would stick with my gown. I am very happy with their service. Each time I tried on the gown, I had Chantelle and Monica holding my dress tight and they would just let me stare at myself with the veil on too. I ordered my gown in August and I'm not getting it until December 22! My wedding is on January 10. The prices are very reasonable. :)

Helena Wirth was the vendor recommended to us by our reception place, The Odyssey. My sister, my fiance and I showed up for the cake tasting and the lady there, Marivic, served us 7 different cakes to taste. Wow! They were all yummy and moist. We tried strawberry champagne, mint chocolate, tiramisu, white cake with strawberry frosting, chocolate mousse and pudding cake, and I forgot the rest. We paid a little more because we chose the chocolate mousse cake which was not included in the Odyssey package. We had to pay an additional $170 which I think is NOT bad at all! The cake is 4 tiers and it will be raised so the florist can decorate it with flowers. :) I would recommend this vendor!

I was VERY disappointed by Javier from Chair Covers by Cuevas. I contacted him because I found him on this website. I was looking to rent 200 pieces of mocha chair sashes from him and have him set it up at my reception place. He was only charging me $1.00/piece. $200 for everything which is a good price. HOWEVER. I met him once at a Starbucks because he showed me samples of the color I was looking for. He didn't have my exact color but said his aunt did at her warehouse in Yorba Linda. He said he would contact me as soon as he picked them up. I contacted him 2 WEEKS LATER and was able to set up a meeting with him again to show me my sashes. I showed up at the place and heard NOTHING from him all day. He totally flaked!!! No call, nothing! Javier is very unprofessional. I left him a message that he should at least call me to let me know he didn't have what I was looking for. I did not hear anything from him to date. (I would give him NO STARS if I could)
