So fingers crossed with good weather we'll be getting married on the stairs outside.

To help save money on the flowers, my father's wife's mother (to save time and space from here on out I'll refer to her as the step grandmother), whom was once a florist offered to help with the outdorr decor!

What we're planning on doing is 2 sandstone urns, one on either side, about where the vases with white sticks are. I already have 2 urn pots in my yard, so I will just take the flowers out of them and use them for the day. My step grandmother is going to make topiary balls coming out of them covered with ivy and flowers. I think this is kind of what they're going for:

I have decided to make many of my pages private to keep the surprise for my wedding guests and my sneaking FH! I love to share and I love making new friends so don't hesitate to ask!

My name is Kathleen. I did my undergrad at Texas A&M (where my FI and I met) and am now a third year Dental Student. My fiance proposed to me July 2011 at a romantic dinner at our favorite restaurant. We have been together now for almost 6 1/2 years. I always thought we would end up eloping in Europe. Needless to say plans have changed! So we've been engaged for almost a year now and I have been so busy with dental school I'm just now getting the chance to start planninng!

Since we won't be getting married in Europe I hope to bring that feel to my wedding. I booked a tuscanesque venue in my home town that I am just in love with!

Let the planning begin photo 1
