Dec 29, 2012
My name is Morgan and I am newly engaged as of Dacwember 23. My fiance's name is Frank and we both attend school at Eastern Washington University. Frank will be graduating this year so we are getting married on December 29, 2012 in order for him to find a job and be solid in it. We both love rock climbing, mountqain biking, kayaking and anything else that gets us out doors. We are also avid movie watchers!
We haven't gotten too far into our wedding planning, but we have booked a place for both our ceremony and our reception! I am so excited to continue on this journey with the man of our dreams and to keep my biography updated with all our news :)
Frank I and I had gone ring shopping over a month before he proposed. I fell in love with one ring in particular, and wanted it OH SO BADLY. December 23, 2011 Frank and I went to Seattle, Wa with my family to do some Christmas time site seeing. We walked all over, through Pike Place Market and down to the water front. I made a comment as we stood over the rail looking at the water about how beautiful the Puget Sound looked with all the Christmas lights. Frank looked at me and asked "how badly did you want that ring?" I responded with "so badly you don't even know!" and with that, he pulled out my dream ring and got down on one knee. I was absolutely speechless...I could not even say yes! Eventually I got it out, and could not stop smiling. Then the truth came out...he had actually gone back to the jewlery store the day after we looked and bought the ring. He had had it the entire time! And apparently EVERYONE (including my brother's girlfriend) knew when he would be proposing. I am so happy!
^^And yes, once he kneeled down, it does look like he proposed in a parking garage...:p
I LOVE the sparkle!
My ceremony spot is actually the church I was brought up in. I have been going there since I was two, and even my younger brother was dedicated here. I love the fact it truely is "the little white church".
My Reception Spot:
My reception will be held at High Ceders Golf Club in Orting, Washington. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, and if we are lucky and the day is clear, we will be treated to a stunning view of Mt. Rainier.
I cannot get to the rest of the pictures to paste on here, so the above is alink to view them.
