About us: hmm..well we met in College...during one of our study sessions in the Sci-library..hehehehe...And we didn't date till a year later..since I was pretty dense...he would asked me out but I would always say I have a lab report to write..and I didn't really know he was asking me on a date...and I did have LOTS of lab report to write..

The "Perfect" proposal. We were heading to La Jolla, to have breakfast at "The Top of the Cove." He got up early, and had my car washed and waxed and ready to go for our scenic drive. We drove "top down" to the beach, and parked along the cove. We were early for our reservation, so we walked around, saw the seals, and climbed out on the rocks. He insisted that we go down to the water, and slip off our shoes for a stroll. That's where he got down on his knee, and popped the question. Of course I said yes! We stood there in shock, putting on the ring, and celebrating, when he asked me to say hello to the photographer. Puzzled, I turned around and there he was. The same photographer that shot his brothers wedding (Trailbrook Photography). Gerald (My fiance) had hired him to follow us around that morning, getting shots of our stroll, and then capture the proposal. I had no idea! It was amazing! We had a quiet breakfast, and soaked everything in. I wanted desperately to call home, and tell the world, but he insisted I wait, and we'd tell them in person. Reluctantly, I agreed, insisting that we first stop at home so I can fix my hair (priorities). Much to my surprise, when we walked in our front door, all of our friends and family were there for a surprise party in our honor! We celebrated all day with the people we love. Much more fun than making calls and tellig everyone over the phone! It was the perfect ending to the perfect day ~ and I have the pictures to look back on!

Our planning: We are JUST getting on our way with 'shortlisting' our major vendors. FI is very involve with the whole planning which I really appreciate. I didn't think he would be since he can be so nonchalant. But I absolutely love the fact that everything about our wedding is/will be something we did together.
