Our Little Fairy Tale...

We met in 2006 while working at Kelsey's together. We went on our first date in May 2007 where we went to watch the movie Vacancy and to Lake Ontario where Lucas taught Georgia how to skip rocks.

Lucas finally asked Georgia to be his girlfriend at Lake Ontario the place of their first date on September 20, 2007. The rest is pretty much history!

We have been living together for 3 years now and have a two year old doggy who we absolutley adore and makes our little family perfect! I knew that Lucas was the one from the day we met and each day I spend with him just gets better and better :) Myself and Lucas have the best time together whether it is going out to dinner or just lying on the couch with eachother!

No one in this world is perfect... but we found out that we are perfectly imperfect together. We have been inseperable ever since and cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives together.

Date: Saturday May 19, 2012

Location: New York, New York- W Times Square

So we both have this obsession with New York City! We go there a couple times a year and each time have a blast! We had decided that we should go for the long weekend...

We got to the hotel at 4:30ish in the afternoon and the room was still not ready. No big deal, we left our bags there did some shopping and went for a Rum and Coke - the usual routine.

Finally at 6:30 p.m. our room was ready... we went up with our bags to our room and walked into a beautiful room filled with rose petals. There was a table with a HUGE box of cupcakes from Sprinkles in New York. There was a heart made of rose petals on it and when the box was opened it said "Georgia Will You Marry Me" with a letter on each cupcake and every flavour of cupcakes!

There was a bottle of champagne there and when you looked out the window of our hotel room it was the most perfect view of Times Square. It could not have been more perfect, looking at the person you love and finally knowing that the next stage in your lives together are going to take place.

Lucas got down on one knee and asked me to be his forever.

The night followed by tons of phone calls, tears and dinner at our favourite restaurant in New York, Bar Americain.

And that concludes our proposal story
