I used to watch romantic films when i was single, and wished that someone could sweep me off my feet with their charm. I can honestly say that meeting my partner Mike was defo worth the wait. I learnt that good things happen to people who wait but also come when you least expect it too.
(How we met)
I was living in Exmouth at the time with my Granparents, I was ready to get myself back out there and start dating, my best friend Josh recommended me a dating site call Plenty of Fish. That day i went home and signed up, within five minutes i got a message from mike, which btw was like an essay but it was so nice to have a message from someone that wanted to know me and was intrested. I messaged Mike back and straight away we got chatting about everything which was really nice. Within a couple of days me and Mike exchanged phone numbers. i was so nervous speaking to him for the first time but my nerves soon went with his humour. We went on webcam to each other, Mikes such a good drawer he asked me what my fave animal was, and i said i love Westie dogs Mike drew me a picture of one :-)
A couple days later he really made the effort with me, he wanted to meet up and hang out, as Mike lived in barnstaple at the time he traveled by train to come and see me. We met up often and really got to know each other. I felt so lucky to have met such a down to earth person and best of all was that we were both ourselfs and relaxed. We still talk about it now and Mike told me that he was going to deleted his dating account the day i registerd.....so glad he didnt :-) One lucky girl.
We started our relationship properly only after 3 weeks of meeting eachother. Very quick but im glad we did cos we are stronger than ever and getting married in 4 months time which i cant wait for. A very excited and nervous bride here!!!! :-)
Our colour theme :-)
Me and Mike have gone for a fab shade of Olive Green - Which was my great grans name, never really knew this untill my Gran told me. defo meant to be :-) This going to be the main colour theme for the day, but just to mix and match a bit, we have gone for a little bit of Grape and ivory, which will go beautiful in the flower arrangements. Very happy Bride with the choices we made!!
