Of all the vendors I hired for my wedding, Gemmer Photography was by far my best choice. Not only were Heather and Adam very attentive to what my husband and I were looking for in photographs, they were easy to communicate with and such a joy to work with. Many people at the wedding commented on how nice they were and how professional they were. A fun couple! Beyond the excellent service, the photographs were amazing. Some of the best I've seen for such a fantastic price. Very artistic just as we asked, and very traditional for the family photographs that we needed. Great creativity! They were extremely quick in delivering the digital prints to us as well. We were able to see a sampling of the pictures online within days! I look forward to working with them again for any future photography needs we have. A++ vendor!

We chose Beeson Hall for their great value, and ended up with fantastic service as well. Tina was our contact, and she was so pleasant to work with. She was in quick contact as needed, and more than helpful in the planning of our day's timeline. She also was very up front about the venue and what she could or could not provide. We were able to choose from 7 or so catering choices, and there was a broad range of choices. Alcohol is also allowed at the venue provided by the caterer of choice. Tables and chairs were free (round tables, basic blue cloth chairs), and centerpiece rental is also available (we paid $5 a centerpiece). We rented linens from an outside company. We had use of the hall to decorate the evening before the wedding as well as the morning of the wedding. However, this was available only because there was not an event planned for the night prior-otherwise we would just have use of the hall the day of. The venue was very clean and ready for use. There is a nice lobby entryway for the guests as well as a coat room, and restrooms are available in this lobby. To get dressed, I used the women's locker room (not very glamorous, but it worked). The day-of coordinator was more than helpful and attentive. Overall, I was extremely happy with the service, and the beauty of the room was perfect for our event.

JP Parker Flowers
I'm glad I chose to work with this florist! I had a very small budget, and they worked very hard to accomodate my budget with my needs. I had constant email contact with my coordinator to make changes and decisions, and she was extremely helpful and gracious. I was not the easiest client to work with! :) They offered many options to meet my budget, including allowing me to provide the ribbon and pick up and set up the flowers myself in order to cut costs. My flowers were absolutely beautiful. They were extremely fresh and held up amazingly well for our outdoor wedding on such a hot day. They were honest in what they believed would hold up in the weather, and their expertise was right on. Worth every penny!

Best cake I've ever had! I am not a cake person at all, and not only am I raving, but all of my guests were raving about how wonderful the cakes were at my wedding! I decided not to have one traditional cake, but a cake buffet at the wedding. We had different cakes at the wedding. Our main cake that we cut was a white chocolate cake with raspberry filling. The others were a variety of the flavors Emma's offered, and the guests loved having a choice! Each was very moist and flavorful. The icing was not too sweet but perfect for each flavor cake. Melissa (the owner) was fun to work with. She was very down to earth, and took my crazy idea of a buffet and ran with it. Each cake was boxed individually and delivered to my venue without any problems. And they looked absolutely beautiful--they were definitely decorated with a wedding in mind, despite the untraditional flavors and icings. The prices were absolutely a value-Melissa does great work, and I will use her again for any future cake needs!

Memorable Weddings by Greg Smith
We hired an officiant for our wedding because we wanted to write our own wedding ceremony and vows. However, Greg Smith was the worst choice we made of all our vendor choices for our wedding. We made it extremely easy on him--we wrote everything word for word for him to read. It was well written and easy to follow. We met with Greg one evening at his home for about 20 minutes, presented him with the outline, and he assured us that it was great and he would have no problem reading it. He went on about how many weddings he's done, the different things he's done for different weddings, and said this was nothing out of the ordinary. We felt confident in him because of those statements. We paid him an outrageous amount of money for the 20 minute ceremony, and went on our way. The day of the wedding he did show up in time. However, as he read the outline for our ceremony, it was EXTREMELY MONOTONOUS. I cannot stress this enough. It was without emotion, ready very quickly, no pauses or inflection in his voice, no attempt at making the humorous parts humorous, nothing! It was unemotional and boring. Such a disappointment! We worked very hard at writing this ceremony in a way that reflected our personalities and faith, and he disregarded our wishes. After the ceremony, we were to sign the marriage license, and he told us he would meet us in the parking lot to sign the license. We had our receiving line after the ceremony (which was outside), and we looked for him for 10 minutes in the parking lot. We were calling people to see if they had seen him, he was no where to be found! So, we continued with pictures, and figured maybe he left and we misunderstood what he wanted. As we went to our reception site to start the reception (which was across the parking lot from our ceremony site), we were told that he was in our reception sitting at a table eating our appetizers and drinking. We were amazed! We had NOT invited him to the reception, and we found that to be a very bold action on his part. Overall, I would not recommend him to anyone unless you are looking for an unemotional ceremony.
