Gracie's Bridal was the worst experience of planning a wedding. I'd heard rumors that Andrea Alcorn was extremely rude, but we were social acquaintances so I thought that might make a difference; however, she acted like she did not know me. She could have made a sale that day but her demeaning attitude and sloppy business sense caused me to walk out without a dress. A year later my sister was getting married and found a dress she loved at Gracie's but it was Andrea's rudeness that caused her not to purchase there. There is not a huge selection of dresses, although what is there is nice, but nothing can forgive the incredible snobbishness that Andrea displays. She would do much better if she let other staff run her store and never step foot in it. Given that it seems there are some positive comments here, she must think in dollar signs--when I was shopping I gave her the low amount I wanted to spend, so she must have written me off then. Little did she know that the sky was the limit. I wonder if she is only nice to the brides who say they can spend a lot straight away. This is a mistake because many people have money but don't say that, and appreciate politeness above all. She needs to realize that in such a small community as Springfield, news travels fast and being nice goes a long way.
