These are our invitations, I love the scroll on it and i like how all of the necessary information for our guests slide into a pocket. A lot of the time with traditional invites some of the cards get lost (the men are notorious for this ;-)
These are our save-the-dates we sent out but with lavender color for the writing on the magnet
My fiance and I met 10 years ago in high school ! We have been dating on and off since and were engaged on December 26, 2007. We had looked at rings 6 months before so i knew it would be coming, but was feeling upset why it was taking so long!!! I guess i was just being the typical impatient girl ;-) My FI wanted to exchange gifts the day after x-mas in our apartment so it would be more intimate than rather at one of our parents homes. I had to work the day after x-mas so when i came home there were candles lit and music playing with all my presents ready for me to open :-) FI is a very romantic guy so i didn't really think anything of it, but then i saw the jewelry armour i had asked for and of course opened that first hoping i would find something special in it! Well there was nothing but non-romantic items in there so my bit of hope was short lived. But then I noticed a few keys that you would use to open a locket hanging on the stems for necklaces. My FI said he would show me later what they were for. I continued opening my gifts and the last one was a small jewelery box with the locket....i had to find the right key to open it and when i did underneath rose peddles was the most amazing ring i had ever seen!
Later my FI explained to me how the jeweler had made the wrong setting so he had a set back of a few months ;-) It was def. worth the wait!
