Andrew was our photographer for our wedding in 2005. He was very professional, easy to work with, and unobtrusive. In fact, during the ceremony, I didn't even know he was there! And our pictures turned out great! We loved the pictures of just the two of us that we took in Alamo Square park, as well as the family group shots. Andrew also has a talent for capturing those candid moments during the reception, especially with kids. We loved the pictures that he took of our flower girls and friend's toddler so much, that we hired him to take pictures of our newborn this year!

The cakemaker

( 5.0 / 5.0 )
We hired the Cakemaker for our wedding in 2005. We had the chocolate decadance cake, because I wanted a wedding cake that looked good and TASTED good too. He went beyond our expectations! The cake looked beautiful, it was all chocolate, and he even used the real flowers the florist provided to decorate it, (at no extra charge!) Our friends still tell us it was the best wedding cake they ever had, even two years later!

Century Club of California and the Julia Morgan Ballroom

( 5.0 / 5.0 )
We had our reception here in 2005. It was reasonably priced and the coordinator was very helpful and accomodating. We brought in our own caterer and our own alcohol, and the coordinator really brought everything together for us. The Ballroom looked beautiful, and my parents were even pleasantly surprised how smoothly everything went. (They don't live close, so they weren't too involved in the wedding planning and never saw the club until that day) Overall, it was a great place for a reception!

Design Florals

( 3.0 / 5.0 )
I hired this florist for my wedding in 2005. I didn't want to spend too much on flowers, I just wanted some simple arrangements with pale pink and white roses. I thought we understood each other after we met, but when I saw my flowers on the day of my wedding, I was pretty disappointed. First of all, the bouquets were tiny. So much so, that I thought they belonged to some other wedding. And I said I didn't want any hot pink, but there they were, hot pink flowers in all my bridesmaids bouquets. I also said I wanted calla lilies...none to be found in any of the arrangements. And to top it off, she didn't even deliver the flowers, she sent some teenage girls that I had never even met, so I didn't feel I could even complain to them. Overall, my guests didn't notice anything, so in that sense, the flowers were fine. Just not what I had imagined. I guess you get what you pay for...cheap flowers=cheap looking arrangements.
