I LOVE DAMASK!! WOO HOO!

Inspiration photo 1Inspiration photo 2

I found damask table runners at Hobby Lobby for 50% off!

Guestbook table: I LOVE the idea of a guitar, one of our groomsmen bought us one to use! :)

I've loved the idea of a candy table since I got engaged.

I bought the red candy on valentines clearance at Walmart, very cheap! I had: red M&M's, Hot Tamales, Twizzlers, Cherry Sours, Red Hots, and some chocolate hearts wrapped in red foil.

I didnt have any kind of wedding planner or anything, all of this has been done all by myself.

POMANDERS:
Fun & Easy! I bought five 5" styrofome balls at Michaels/Hobby Lobby. And 200 red carnations from ebay seller roseys_garden I simply put a dab of hot glue on the ball and stuck the flower in! For the black ribbon, I glued the ribbon to the stryo. ball and stuck in a sewing pin to keep it from coming out!

WEDDING COLOR BOOK FOR THE KIDS @ OUR WEDDING:
Edited a picture of us for the cover, printed the other color pages of disney couples (ie: aladdin & jasmin, mickey & minnie, beauty & the beast, cinderella & her prince, pocahontus & her prince, etc.)

SEMI-DIY ROSES
My mom bought these roses at Walmart on Valentines clearance in 2008. The vases were originally silver but were all dinged up from being stored for so long. One of our groomsmen popped the roses of the top of the vase and my fiance spray painted the vases flat black. I simply just hot glued the roses back on top and bam!

"BUBBLE BASKET"
I just wrapped damask paper around the plastic containers that the bubbles came in.

We didn't have very many kids at our wedding but I loved the idea of a coloring book so I did it anyways. It was a HUGE hit, every complimented on my "creative abilities" Only if they knew about projectwedding.com :)

I used the "sketch" option on photobucket.com to make our picture look like a coloring page. I then went to www.disney.com and found coloring pages of famous couples (ie: Aladdin & Jasmin, Mickey & Minnie, Cinderella & Prince, Beauty & The Beast, etc.) I printed about 15 different couples, hole punched at the top and then added ribbon. Easy as pie!

I bought 2 little red buckets for $1 each at target, some crayons and some suckers! I used a plastic black table cover because I know kids and they can be messy!

So, I thought this would be a great way for us to make some extra cash and help brides in need without having to pay the ridiculous price of invitations these days.

Find the invitations, save the date, etc. that you like (or tell us what you want and we can custom design it personally for you)- email me a picture of the design you find/want at caseyashby26@yahoo.com and I can give you an estimate depending on how many things he will be designing. He will design it and either email you back with a copy of your product or we can mail you a CD with the file on it and just simply take it to kinkos, etc. and have them print it for super cheap! We had 150 invitations and 80 save-the-dates on cardstock and it cost around $115 give or take a few dollars and it took 15 MINUTES!

He can design ANYTHING, any size or color. He designed our invitations, RSVP card, save-the-date cards, the map to our venue, candy table sign. He is super creative and works for a huge graphic design/tshirt place. We would love to make your dreams come true without the price tag!

PM me if you are interested!

Image and video hosting by TinyPic

(Thanks to HMM for the color inspiration)

We originally planned black and white with a splash of red. It has become red and black with a splash of damask! I love it, it's elegant, romantic and perfect! I cannot wait to see how it all turns out!

I think damask if elegant and goes perfectly with red and black. I didn't want to add to much though! This is where our hints of damask are going:
- Table runner for our Sweetheart table
- Table runner for Candy Table
- Table runner for Cake Table
- Card Box
- Basket for programs
- Memo board for engagement pics
- Picture frame for guestbook table
