Garfield Park Conservatory

( 5.0 / 5.0 )
The ceremony and reception were both held at Chicago's Garfield Park Conservatory. It's one of Chicago's hidden gems and we wanted to share it with our family and friends.

Wai-Ching

( 5.0 / 5.0 )
My dress was definitely unusual. I couldn't see myself in a white gown, so I figured I'd just have fun with it. It was custom made by Chrissy Wai Ching in Seattle. All I did was send her my measurements and fortunately, it fit like a glove.

April Joy Events

( 5.0 / 5.0 )
April Recinos of April Joy Events was responsible for many of the most beautiful details from the day. She's a tremendous talent....If I remember correctly, all I had to say was "organic and textural, with dahlias, herbs and thistle" and she worked her magic. I could gush about her all day.

Las Guitarras De Espana (the Guitars Of Spain)

( 5.0 / 5.0 )
Scott (my husband) is a musician, so we brought in a fabulous flamenco guitar duo for the ceremony and cocktail hour. (The Guitars of Spain) they're incredible.

The Sugar Syndicate

( 5.0 / 5.0 )
The cake was from Sugar Syndicate and was delicious - alternating tiers of lemon curd w/ berries and key lime curd. The marbled fondant was kind of a playful-faux bois.
