These are the colours I intend on seeing on the day
Reception area- The St.Lucia Golf & Country Club
Cocktail Hr-Patio at the St.Lucia Golf Club, Reception- Gap Grill Restaurant and Bar at the Golf Club
I love the idea of the dark brown suit. FI will wear pinstripes, other grooms men in plane dark suits
This is the dress my girls will be wearing. Alfred Angelo 7016. I planned on doing a different dress for my MOH, but she insisted that she wanted the same dress. I'll just do her hair differently.
Bridesmaids shoes, Nine West Accolia Sandal in Bronze
Well my colours are burnt orange, chocolate brown, gold and pastelle colours as accent colours. Still not certain about what colours I should use for my table linens. I'm thinking the chocolate pintuck will really make the burnt orange pop!!
My fabric colours
So I think the top cake is THE ONE with a twist! I really loved the votives on acrylic pillars around the cake, I'm soooo doing that! We're debating on whether we should do the multiple cakes or just the single cake, I think they both look beautiful!
I'm defnitely doing ceiling balls for the reception. Still havent found those ginormous oasis balls!!
My ceilings are not over done, simple but rather nice. I will be doing lighting to show the beauty in the room. The cupcake idea for our guests we will be doing on a DIY cake stand.
This is our inspiration for our tables..I love love the crystal strands swagged under the vases!! Definitely a DIY for me!! My colour scheme I will upload soon
Next month my fiance and I get to decide on where we're actually going to be having the wedding since we're currently off island! So far we've decided on either Pigeon Island, one of St.Lucia's national landmarks where the annual Jazz Festival is held (my top choice) or Stoney Hill St.Lucia- a romantic villa to the north of the island with a beautiful garden for a intimate wedding ceremony. Anyone would agree that having an outdoor wedding in St.Lucia would be absoloutely magnificent, the only downfall is that IT ALWAYS RAINS BACK HOME!! grrrr!!
These are pictures of Pigeon Island St.Lucia, I havent been home recently to take pics of the park on my own, so i decided to upload those sent to me by wedding planners in St.Lucia. Some of these pictures were taken near the war ruins and soldier baraks in the park. St.Lucia has alot of history, after all the British and French fought for the island 14 times!!
And these are pics from location number #2 Stoney Hill St.Lucia
Option 2 can be used for both the wedding and the reception, however I am trying to limit my time outside since the weather back home is soooo unpredictable even in december!! I have so many ideas for these venues, I just cant decide as yet!!
