While the cake was part of our package at the Zoo, Pat was wonderful to work with in picking out our flavors and design. My FI (now DH) was living out of town and she worked with us to coordinate visiting when he was in town. The cake was really important to the groom, so it was wonderful having someone who was willing to work with us and to sit down and discuss options with him. And to make it even better the cake tasted awesome and looked great!

The Jewel Box

( 5.0 / 5.0 )
Ceremony Site: The Jewel Box was beautiful. Our wedding was the week after Easter, so there were still Lilies everywhere. We had a minister, but no church, so the Jewel Box worked perfectly for what we needed. The time crunch isnt too bad, but you do have to be prepared. We had to have our rehearsal on Thursday before our Saturday ceremony, but it ended up being ok. I told the bridal party (most who were out of town) they could skip the rehearsal, but they all made arrangements to be in town for it.

Sarah Grus Weddings

( 5.0 / 5.0 )
We booked Sarah for Wedding Day Management. The first time my (then) FI met with Sarah, he walked out and stated I dont know how much were paying her but it isnt enough! That was very true! Sarah allowed me to enjoy the day without stressing over the details. She also made it so that my family and other guests (all from out of town) could come and merely be guests and not have to work or be asked to help out.

Designet International

( 5.0 / 5.0 )
We ordered our custom designed, matching wedding bands from deSignets. We did visit their storefront, but only because we were in the area. They have multiple goldsmiths on staff and were able to design a ring pattern for us that included our initials and a celtic knot woven together.

We were absolutely thrilled with Kelly! She was great to work with for our engagement pictures, she was patient and answered all my questions in emails promptly and she was fun to have with us on the day of our wedding. When we got our pictures, we were so impressed and every page of the album had us exclaiming thats a great picture! Our friends and families have also been impressed with the pictures.

Men's Warehouse

With all the groomsmen being from out of town, this was a great choice. Everyone was able to get measured at a local-to-them store and pick up in St. Louis. They were also able to make any needed alterations without causing a panic. All the guys looked stunning!

The Living World @ The St. Louis Zoo

( 5.0 / 5.0 )
The Zoo was a great venue for our reception. It had the atmosphere of fun that we wanted and Jason Moder was great to work with. The food was fantastic. We didnt have a lot of guests (ended up at about 80 people). The Living World was perfect as we could have cocktails upstairs and dinner and dancing downstairs. It allowed space for folks to get away from the crowd if they wanted without having to leave the party. When I first submitted the deposit and contract I got a call from someone at the Zoo who was concerned that it was such a large space for our group (estimated then at 125). She was concerned that wed feel lost in such a large space. We couldnt have been happier with the space or the service. It doesnt hurt that their prices included the cake and you dont have to pay tax!
