Realistically Fictional Productions
Found them listed in the "Urban Weddings" planner & the "Real Weddings" Magazine. Their name stood out to me, it sounded really cool & funky & thought we need to see them. My fiance loved their site after seeing 15 sec of it. They replied within 24 hrs & they did something that I've never experienced...they introduced themselves! They are a young, fun and energetic group who are all professionally trained in videography and photography. They style is modern & contemporary, almost like a mini-movie of your day! Their photographs are beautiful, breath-taking & capturing of the moment. We absolutely loved them, loved their work & knew this was our team! Then comes pricing. Our wedding is a 2-day event & knew this was going to be a big chunk of change & planned for it. But by having them film both days & provide both services of photo & video, we were well within our budget, which is like the icing on the cake! Thank you RFP! I cannot wait to see "our" final product, I'm so excited!!!

Sakura photography is a phenomenal photo duo consisting of husband & wife, Mark & Leslie. I first met them when I was a B-maid for one of my really close friends' wedding & that's when I fell in love with them! (Sad for me, they are booked for one of my 2-day wedding event.) Their style is modern, contemporary, sincere, fun, amazing, captivating...I could just go on. Similarly to the previous review, they truly do find the beauty in any environment & any weather challenge :o) With the sometimes chaos that comes with weddings, they were both calm, confident, understanding & a great resource for help. We ran short of time for the pre-ceremony pics, but that didn't stop them from doing their job & resulting in beautiful photographs. The photographs were always vibrant and as natural as possible, capturing the people and the background behind them. So during the day, it was daylight, but at night, sometimes the background becomes really dark, not with them, the photos looked like you were there. I don't know how else to explain, you'll have to see for yourself. The price is what I estimate I would've paid for one day (10 hrs) + engagement session/items + photobooth (yep, a photobooth service!). My friends was less. They also make this beautiful storybook album that has every single picture taken, so like a digital photobook but better! Our friends had almost 1100 pics. And then the cost of their other add-on items are definitely much more affordable than what others may charge. I found other photographers with a similar style, quoting me much higher prices, but I still thought the overall final product of images Sakura offered, was better. They also offer an online album, password protected, of all your images for you to share with family & friends. They are large images & downloadable! Others have tiny pictures forcing you to pay additional for them. In the past, aside from having your day captured, all the "items" seemed important too. Like having lots of prints/proofs, albums, enlargements. After seeing the beautiful images Sakura has taken, my pov is changed, and having the pictures captured and one good album is all you really need, everything else can be done later. So thank you Sakura and thanks to my friends for finding them! Check them out: sakuraphotography.com PS - the Photobooth was a huge success!! See for yourself! We were referred to Crest Jewellers by my FI cousin, who had a beautiful ring made for her DH. They are a family based company and they always treat us as if we're family too. I wanted a slightly different style stone & most retail stores had amazing & beautiful rings, but they didn't carry what I had in mind. Crest Jewellers was able to obtain the Asscher-style (square-emerald) shape I had my heart on within weeks of my contacting them & they were able to get a few in. Many other places, at that time, couldn't obtain it and one huge retail store who advertises they purchase diamonds daily, wanted to charge us $400 (which was refundable) to get the stone in the store, but that wasn't for us. (This style now, does seem to be really popular now, but didn't seem as popular several years ago.) When it came to the setting, we had lots of trouble deciding & initially went with something simple, yet contemporary. But, after a few years, the setting changed to something completely different that was created by my FI & Crest Jewellers and it turned out more beautiful than we both imagined. And it suited my personality a whole lot better! Hanif (of Crest Jewellers) wanted to make sure that we were happy with the final product and they did an amazing job and at really affordable prices. We also found the quality of the stones they chose/use, was always of a very high grade & nothing but the best, without the huge sticker price. For custom design or not, they've got some amazing pieces in the store and are able create some really unique pieces based on a customer's specifics! Definitely worth checking out! Thank you Crest Jewellers!!!
