Well, our day has finally come and gone and we were so pleased with how everything turned out!
Our fabu photog, Nataly Lemus, really showcased some wonderful shots in her blog while we wait for all the finished images.
We encountered some brief bouts with rain, tornados and other events provided by Mother Nature, but through it all, we made it through and had the sun return in time for the ceremony and post-pictures.
The reception turned out wonderfully and all the details were in place! Our guests loved everything and couldn't believe that we did this all ourselves. Hooray!
I'll be posting more soon!
'Nuff said. I love it! And it's a lot better in person. :)
So, I picked this A-Line design by Aurora D'Paradisso. It fits so well and has a true lace up bodice. I didn't need any alterations, except to create a bustle. It has intricate embroidered detail and can be found throughout the gown. It also has delicate flower accents in the front that are really light, but are perfect for my garden themed wedding. I love it!
I had a really hard time deciding if I even *wanted* a veil. But after I came across these silk chiffon veils, I knew I was set. They are so soft and flow like fabric. It really accents the laid back feel of the wedding, and I won't have that netting to stick to my hair and feel all blah. :)
I just fell in love with these dresses from http://www.foxnlily.com. They're a lovely silk duponi material with a high empire waist and a sage green sash. This is their "Chloe" style.
They'll also be wearing these pearl necklaces with matching sage green ribbon as the fastener.
