Finding shoes has been difficult, simply because there are so many cute shoes out there.  Here's the pair I ended up ordering from Zappos.  This particular style is called Lily.  I am going to have to have two pairs of shoes because the first pair is really high (4.5") & so difficult to walk in.  The second pair is the pair I will be wearing during the reception, they are also from Zappos; they are by Rsvp & called Toni.

I purchased some cute rhinestone stickers, that I will be placing on the bottom of my shoes.  I will probably put 'I Do' one them, or perhaps just my soon to be initials...

I would like to wear my hair down for the wedding.  Soft loose curls, with maybe the front part pulled back.  Similar to the photo below.  I would love to get hair extensions for the wedding, but I don't think that is going to be within our budget.  I also have my hairpiece that matches my Maggie Dress.  So I need to find a way to incorporate that into the do.

I have booked Micheline Love for my wedding day hair & makeup.  She seems like a doll & I am excited to work with her.  :)

I want my make-up to be very sultry looking.  I love the eyes in this photos.  In the second photo I saw this on a fellow Project Wedding member's profile (kohler44), so hopefully she doesn't mind that I am using it as an example.  I just LOVE how they did her eye's!

I am planning on having cupcakes at our wedding in leiu of wedding cake.  I am obsessed with cupcakes, & my aunt made these adorable faux cupcakes to use as placecard holders for the bridal party & the guests.  (They can take them home afterwards & use them as a photo holder.)  I am going to do pink frosting for the ladies & chocolate frosting for the men.  Us bride & groom will have ivory ones with pearls.

I ordered my invitations from Your Style Invitations @ http://www.yourstyleinvites.com

She has some of the prettiest & unique designs I've ever seen.  I had a hard time choosing which design.   What is so cool about her invitations is that you can customize them as much as you would like...

***UPDATE***  You can read my review of them here.  Not so great!!!

I am graphic artist, so I decided to just make the save the date cards myself.  I actually knew ahead of time which invites I was purchasing, so I just designed them to match the invites & ordered them through Vistaprint.

My photo sharing cards!  These will be printed out at Vistaprint & will be standard business card size.  I borrowed the wording from PW'er LaVitaBella.  (Thank you LaVitaBella!)

I just ordered my wedding gown yesterday!  I am so excited...  I originally had my heart set on the Sabelle by Maggie Sottero.

I think the Sabelle gown is just stunning.  It was the first dress I had tried on.  However, there was something in my heart telling me that I still hadn't found 'the one'.  So I went gown shopping yet again & came across another Maggie gown... called Rhianna Royale.  It was pretty much love at first try-on!  I debated between the two but felt in my heart that the Rhianna Royale is the one for me!  Isn't it just breathtaking?  It is so much more beautiful in person.  The photos don't do it any justice.  I also ordered the matching hairpiece to wear along with my veil.  I am so excited & know I made the right choice!  I ordered it in the Light Gold color, which is pictured below.

Here's an actual pic of me in the dress...from my first fitting!  I love it!

I am having lots of fun planning out all of the details, while in the same breath stressing majorly over everything.

The colors for the wedding will be chocolate brown & champagne.  The accent colors will be hot pink with a splash of turquoise.

We have decided to use Palos Studios to be our photographer.  They were available on really short notice (a month before my wedding), as my original photographer canceled on us due to double booking a wedding.  Erin has been so sweet so far & can't wait to see what images they capture on our special day!

I recently selected & secured the venue as well.  We originally wanted a beach wedding, but I couldn't find what I was looking for so we ended up choosing Calamigos Ranch, in Malibu, CA.  We will be having our wedding at the Ranch House.  I haven't actually seen the place in person, since I live in Colorado.  But all of the photos look gorgeous & I have heard nothing but good things about the place, their food & their service!  Here's a few photos of where the reception will take place.  I couldn't find any of the ceremony site.  Check their site out at: http://www.calamigosranch.com/
