I have finally posted my reviews for my vendors here on PW. If you are interested, please check them out.
April Smith Photography- April is a doll to work with. We have already taken our engagement pictures and they came out beautifully. I can't wait for the wedding day.
Jakqi's Cake Creations- The cake tasting was soo much fun! I can't wait for the cake.
Kate Baker Florals- Kate does beautiful work. She comes highly recommended here on PW. Check her out.
Real Genius Entertainment- I was recommended to this vendor by some friends who have seen him previously perform.
Pebbles Bridal- I was planning on getting my dress here, but found it elsewhere at a sample sale. However, we did get all of my bridesmaids and mothers dresses here and they are fabulous to work with.
My dress is the Maggie Sottero Diana in Diamond White with Pewter accents. I knew I wanted to be a Maggie bride, but the dress I ended up with was not what I thought I would want.
I went with one of my MOHs to a bridal salon to try some Maggie dresses on to get ideas. When we got there they told us that they were selling all of the sample dresses and not ordering anything. I looked through the dresses and only 1 caught my eye (and was in my size). I almost left because I wasn't overly thrilled with the dress, but decided to try it on. Am I glad I did! As the saleslady was lacing up the back of the dress this feeling just came over me and I knew it was my dress. I still left to go to another salon I had an appt with, but was back a few hours later signing on the dotted line.
I loved my dress (still do actually). My seamstress made a recommendation that we went with that made me love the dress even more. The dress has an organza overlay, so we decided to cut away the satin fabric of the train and leave only the organza overlay. It was perfect for our garden wedding and it made it alot lighter too.
The invitations are finally done! They didn't take that long to make, but finding something I liked and designing it took what felt like forever!
I got all of my paper supplies from Paper Source. Then I designed the actual invite. The wording was pretty easy to come up with, it was the font, the layout, the color, etc that was time consuming. I really have learned what compromising is through this process. Who knew that FI would want so much input?!?!
I created the flower vine stamp and had it made at West Valley Rubber Stamp. Then a week before we were ready to assemble the invites we decided to emboss a stamp on the outside of the green envelope to give it some more character.
It made for a fun day with my BMs assembling our invites!
I got my shoes from zappos.com they are Tori by Coloriffics. The website was super easy to use and they even upgraded my shipping to next day for FREE! Gotta love that! I can't wait to wear them!

I found this veil at the first bridal shop I really looked at and it matched my dress perfectly!
