We love the fall and the beautiful fall colors so our theme is chocolate brown, burnt orange and dark cranberry red. Beautiful colors together. Our theme is very elegent and classy, everything from the dresses to the decor and the flowers will be elegent!
On October 18, 2008 he proposed, he took me hiking, we hiked to a spot on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi, along the hike he was finding walnuts because "he wanted to eat on at the top of the bluff". As we sat down in our spot "which he had already picked out days before" he began cutting open the walnut and giving me a speach about how much he loves me. Then inside the walnut was the most beautiful diamond engagement ring ever! After we had our moment we left because he had several other suprises up his sleeve, he had dinner reservations at a fancy resturant and champagne. Next was a horse and carraige ride around dubuque and it ended with a hote suite with a dozen roses, rose peddals around the room and a bottle of wine. It was perfect.
We are getting married October 9, 2010.
Sean and I met in November 2006 at the local YMCA. I had been catching him looking at me for months, but he never came up to me to talk so I brushed it off and continued to do my thing. Then one day in November, to make a long story short, he introduced himself and we began to talk, we exchanged phone numbers and I called him that night. We talked for 3 hrs but it only felt like 15 minutes. We had so much in common. Four days later he met my entire family for Thanksgiving (his choice) and they loved him! A month later we moved in togthere and about 2 yrs later became engaged. I guess when you know you know!
I have a BA in psychology and sociology. I currently work in a disability claims office handeling FMLA and STD claims. I am also going back to school for dental hygiene hopefully this fall when my number on the waiting list is up!
Sean ownes a few local construction companies and has amazingly kept busy even with the falling economy. We both work and live in Dubuque, IA, but have plans to move out of Dubuque, to a bigger city, hopefully Madison once I am finished with school.
