It was Christmas morning and  he had just opened all his presents, when he handed me a present  hidden under the tree. When I opened it I was surprised to find a photo album full of pictures of me and him over the past two years, beginning with the first night we met until now. Since most of the pictures where from my camera I didn't feel the need to look through the whole thing but he insisted we look at every last one of them. At the end of the album was pictures of my Christmas tree, I was a little confused but Billy just told me to keep looking. The next picture was a closer picture and the next was of the star on the tree with a silver smudge. The last picture was of a fuzzy silver object hanging from my star. I slowly peaked over his shoulder and asked "is my ring on the tree?" He smiled and suggested that I go see. He got on one knee and I said "of course...yes...FINALLY!"

I always said I didn't want to meet my husband in a bar...I guess when we make plans God laughs. Billy and I met through mutual friends at Ob's, a local bar in downtown Lake Charles. After the bar closed he offered to take me to Raising Cane's and the rest is history.
