Three of my bridesmaids come from another state and two of them were recently BMs at another wedding (pictured above). The dresses cost $350 AUD and they already matched my colour scheme so I rang the other two BMs from the wedding and borrowed their dresses for my wedding. Cost of interstate phone calls: $6.39, knowing your bridesmaids will look faboulous on the day without paying a cent for their dresses? Priceless!
WHAT THEY LOOKED LIKE ON THE DAY: Absolutely Beautiful!
I bought the Dress from Simonelli - I almost crashed my car when I saw it in the window while driving past! I dont have a photo of it but heres her website:
Update: See below for pictures of my final fitting!
We're tying the knot on Waiheke Islands' Mudbrick Winery in New Zealand. We were struck with it's beauty and simple elegance.
James proposed to me in Paris, after a picnic on the lawns under the Eiffel Tower, on my 25th birthday. I've wanted to go to Paris since I was 6 years old andI'll never forget my 1st view of the city I love. Now it's even more special to me and we plan on going back there on our special anniversaries. James is the type of man every girl wants to marry - he's handsome, a real gentleman, faithful to his loved ones, hard working, caring and funny. Where did I find him? I had to import him from England! I cant wait to be his wife!
I was working for The Wilderness Society as a fundraiser. On this fated day I was wearing a bright pink koala costume when nature called - loudly. I realised that I was only a few Kms away from my friends flat and started running down the street towards it. By the time I reached the building I was desperate and buzzed my friends flat; "Let me in I have to pee!!". The door swung open and I ran up the flights of stairs to my friends door and urgently knocked upon it. The door swung open and I flew past someone yelling "MOVE! I HAVE TO PEE!" It was only when I had removed the pink koala coustume and satisfied the call of nature that I realised I didnt know who I'd just pushed out of the way to get into the flat. Very sheepishly I gathered my big koala head under my arm and walked out of the bathroom. James was standing there with a somewhat befuddled look on his face as he asked his future wife "So are you collecting donations?"
