We danced to Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love"
We had TONS of speeches...left it open mic for people to speak.. but here is my lil bro fighting back tears as he speaks and my reaction..fighting back tears myself...i love my brother :)
My speech thanking our families and friends, but most of all my momma for all her help...again..I'm crying :)
Bouquet and garter toss
Done to "Single Ladies" (Beyonce) and "The Distance" (Cake)
My hubby is not a big fan of sweets...but I made him have a bite of cake...below is his reaction :)
Dancing and drinking!
7th Inning Stretch
We had a late night snack of hot dogs and nachos with all the fixins...perfect baseball game food..it was a huge hit!
Unfortunately, the night did have to come to an end....a few last pics at the end of one of the most amazing days of my life!! :)
Guest book table
Escort card table (and yes...we painted ALL of these by hand, bent all the wires, and printed all the baseball ticket escort cards on our home printer!!) :)
Favors! We bought lil vellum bags, printed stickers at home with our monogram, stuck those on the bags, and then filled them with baseball game snacks. Sunflower seeds, peanuts, cracker jacks, Dubble Bubble, and awesome star chocolates that my best friend made! :)
Head table (before flowers were placed)
All of our tables were named after a section at Dodger Stadium
Made two of these centerpieces to look like glasses of beer for my hubby..they went on each end of the bar at the reception :)
Our toasting glasses
I had our cake topper (which obviously just sat on table :), custom made from the Ginger Babies shop on Etsy. Our cake serving set was from Michaels and i just added the Marine Corps touches :)
Our day was a little warm but otherwise PERFECT!! We had our ceremony and reception at the beautiful Knollwood Country Club! :)
We wrote our own vows...it was totally awesome.
I now pronounce you man and wife! You may kiss the bride!
I loved our ceremony site! Perfect blue sky and gorgeous green trees..and of course a palm tree!! :) So California!
Stuffing our faces with our delicious appetizers!
In keeping with the baseball theme, the boys wore Dodgers ties!
And I let all my girls pick their own dress...only rules were knee or tea length and royal blue! I didn't even see all the dresses together until wedding day! It looked awesome! :)
