You May Kiss the Bride

( 5.0 / 5.0 )
Richard was just wonderful and I was so pleased with how well he performed our ceremony. He was so warm in his words and I gobbled them up big time. He did a fantastic job.

Her jewelry is both beautiful and just perfection; I loved everything she created for me and my bridesmaids. I can't get over how gorgeous all my pieces were and the price was very reasonable.

What can one say about this guy that hasn't already been said? Kerim is absolutely amazing and can take a rainbow of colors and make them work. I never really had a vision for my flowers so when I met with Kerim I just said, "whatever you think, the girls are wearing red". He took those small few words and made it happen. Every flower was beautiful and he just went above and beyond my expectations. If you are looking for a florist, you should definitely contact him.

My DH and I are not cake people unless its tres Leches and since it wasn't, we let our 4 year old decide what cake to serve. Took him to our tasting and said, "Isaac, you pick the cake". And he did. Whatever he picked was pretty darn good because he wanted a to-go bag. And I havent heard a peep from our guests, so I guess it was a successJ Gotta love it!

Marlin Munoz Photographer

( 5.0 / 5.0 )
Marlin is just a really cool person and I could rave about him all damn day. His pictures are not posed and that's exactly what I wanted when I went looking for a photographer. Marlin is kick back, so flow and just makes you feel comfortable. At the wedding, I didn't want him to leave. I even took pictures with Marlin because he's almost like family now. Before our ceremony my son came down with hives on his legs, and Marlin was there calming him down and holding him. He's just so genuine and like no other, definitely a rare gem in this scary ugly business of wedding planning.

Time Out Dance

( 1.0 / 5.0 )
My DH and I were a little turned off at our first meeting when Sarah started pressuring us to buy her program. This program consisted of her friend taking all of our musical selections and editing them down to make our wedding "flawless". This service would be an additional $100. When we finally walked out the dance studio some 45 minutes later, we were numb. I was ticked at my FI for paying in full but whatever...we stuck it out. Our dance lessons started a week later and I guess Sarah forgot about the program because she never mentioned it again. (Thank god!) My DH isn't a dancer at all, so I was rather impressed that she got him to do the moves she did. I do feel though that Sarah picked on me through some of our lessons. At times my hands weren't in the proper place or I wasn't putting enough effort; it seemed that no matter how I did it, it was just never right. My FI was always laughing because he had no dance experience and seemed to get raves, while I was struggling to do a stupid turn. Although we didn't pay $$$$, Sarah and her husband always seemed rush in our lessons. At our first lesson she focused mainly on the set-up versus the actual dance. At our second lesson, she was running behind....(doing her "program" pitch to antoher couple), so we only had time to do a quick run through. This run through was just my FI and I repeating the same silly steps over and over. Sarah said we were, "getting there" and wanted to see us in another week. Honestly, I don't even know why we bothered with this lesson. At the last lesson she tried to sell us on lessons for different dances, which she claimed would be "more fun and exciting". S All in all, we really liked the time we spent together in the studio; I just could have lived without Sarah's sales pitch and her sometimes critical attitude. Oh well, it's over now:)

I met Michelle over a year ago as a bridesmaid. I had just become recently engaged and she was starting a coordinating business, so when she posted for Trial Brides I emailed her that I was interested. Michelle acted as my day of coordinator but really I felt like she was with me every step of the way. When I needed help finding a vendor, she came forth with a list. In fact, she introduced me to Marlin. Each time I had an issue I went to her with guidance and she was always happy to help. Michelle is the most organized person I have ever met and made me feel like a disorganized bride, even though I had a color coordinated binder of contracts. I honestly do not know what I would have done without her so I feel strongly that if anyone needs a coordinator, she definitely should be considered. I'm going to miss working with her....

DJ Party to Go

( 5.0 / 5.0 )
Honestly, the best dj's I've ever seen in all my life and no, I'm not just saying that because I hired them. Gabe was our emcee and the guy was flawless. He had the names down, the accents, he was just utterly amazing and Henry handled the music. The song selection was perfect. We had everything from a little hip-hop to our Cumbia's. You named it and they had it. They had creative ways of entertaining the guests without being cheesy, and our guests loved every minute of it. When I say that there was no one sitting at the tables, I'm not lying. At one point, everyone was dancing! And that includes my Grandma!

Dan is a very nice guy and isn't in your face. He also worked with my wee pathetic budget and for that I'm thankful. At my friends wedding her videographer was up her butt, so I figured most videographers are like that...well, I don't even remember seeing Dan. So, he deserves an A" for being so non-obtrusive.

Kevin Benson - Guitarist

( 1.0 / 5.0 )
The music to my ceremony was very important to me and well, Kevin screwed up big time. Without giving all the ugly details, I will just say that 1/2 of my bridal party walked down to no music and we all walked out to NO music. Oh, and his seating music consisted of him and the flutist practicing and warming up.

Chair Covers by Angie

( 4.0 / 5.0 )
The chair covers were put up on time and the price was good, so she gets an A. I had no un-expected issues and Angie was always sweet on the phone. You definitely can't beat the price of $2.50 per chair cover.

JaymeWilson12 told me about this place and how cool the set up was, so we booked it for our RD. The food and service was top notch and you just can't pass up the pricing! For 22 people, the bill was under $300.00!!! P.S. Loved the Flautas.

"The Long Beach Reef"

The Reef Catering Staff: let's see...they are nice on the phone but they don't actually offer up any information about what they can or will provide. I received my contract in the mail on the day it was due. My advice for any Reef bride or Groom is to have a coordinator because the Reef only provides the room and then the rest is up to you. Servers, Location, Ceremony and Room: 5 star Our head Server, Luis took care of us from the minute we entered the room. He was just so warm and friendly. The food was delish (we served Chicken with thyme sauce), and the drinks were good drinks. (Not watered down) The room was just like I wanted it to be and the view was spectacular. (On a side note, I got word that the bar pricing on drinks were much less than the drinks offered inside our reception...not good)
