Or I might go with this, I really love the leaves in it!
I've always admired my mother's ring, which has three stones on each side of the main diamond, so I wanted something similar. I told FI this, and he picked this one out at Robbins Bros. But it just has a plain simple white gold band. I love it so much!
My fiance Michael and I both work at a small tech company in Milpitas. Some days it's hard to see so much of each other, but other days it works out perfect since he's my best friend.
We met at a mutual friend's party at Yardhouse, a brewery/restaurant in Southern California. It was my last year of college and I just wanted to have fun. We ended up talking to each other over nerdy issues like history and found we had a lot of common perspectives. So one thing led to another and now we're engaged!
For my birthday, Michael took me to a small, secluded beach in Laguna Niguel. Only about 20 people were there, it looked like someone's private beach. He packed a picnic basket with food he just picked up at the deli section in a grocery store, like fried chicken, fries, etc. But it was still a cute idea, especially since he doesn't cook. As we walked along the small strip of sand, we turned a corner and before I knew it, we were by ourselves. We sat down, stared out at the water, and that's when he pulled out a ring and asked me to marry him.
