I loved this updo on Eva Longoria the moment I saw it! I knew this is what I wanted for my wedding hairstyle.
I want my make-up to be clean, natural. I want to stick with earth tone colors.

We are looking forward to having our dream beach wedding at the Excellence Punta Cana Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic (Quisqueya la Bella!). We will be having a private and intimate ceremony oceanside at sunset on the 15th of May, 2010. We are sort of eloping except everyone knows, so I guess its really just considered a DESTINATION WEDDING. :) We are also honeymooning for 9 glorious nights at this resort. Either way, we are so excited for the day to come so that we can finally join together as Mr. and Mrs.!
My FI wasn't nervous the night that he took me out (or so he says) for our 1-year anniversary dinner because he knew what he wanted to do. I knew he was going to propose this year, but I didn't know it would be our anniversary night! And so, I thought nothing of it when he acted ultra giddy on our way to the restaurant. If you ask him today, he'll say that he's never been more sure about anything else before.
During dinner, we were seated in a secluded, private area of the restaurant with no one around us. We toasted to each other, our love, and our future and he took this opportune time to ask if I wanted to spend forever with him. I said "yes, you know I do" still not catching on to what he was about to do. He asked me to spend forever with him, to be his wife and through the crying, foggy vision, and nervous shaking I said "yes!" We were both smiling ear-to-ear. I never thought someone could truly surprise me the way he did and catch me off guard. Never in my wildest dreams did I think someone could pull off a proposal without me knowing about it, but he did. We both just gazed at each other taking in the surrealness of the moment - - probably thinking the same thing: Did he? Did I just...? YES! We are engaged. He was smiling ear-to-ear; we hugged, we kissed and couldn't stop staring at each other. The whole moment felt surreal, like something out of a novel, and my stomach was in knots. For us, it was by far the perfect proposal, the most romantic night of my life, and an evening neither of us will ever forget. I wouldn't change a thing...errrr, except we should've had a camera on hand!!
It was a fairly balmy evening for December and it was a milestone birthday for Rosa, she was celebrating the big 3-0! All week she had been debating whether to celebrate or dig herself into a hole. As fate would have it, she decided to celebrate with her nearest and dearest! A small group gathered in downtown New York at Madame X. After initial introductions and a few shots, Larry played photographer of the night. He thought she was "tiny and cute"; she thought his eyes were nice and her first impression was that he was "mad cool."
It wasn't until after a heart-to-heart conversation at Silver Spurs at 4 in the morning that we realized there was more to each other than meets the eye; and needless to say, the spark was ignited. To her ears, he was saying all the rights things and to his ears, she was everything he'd been looking for in someone. Little did either of us know that divine intervention was playing its hand from that night forward. We had so much in common, and really hit it off, to say the least. When it was time to part ways that night (err...morning), we felt as if we had known each other for longer than we had. There was something very timeless about our first encounter. We gave each other a quick kiss on the cheek, with him promising to call the following day, and we left saying we would find each other on MySpace. As promised, he was a man of his word and he called the very next afternoon and we spent about 5 hours talking that night. After endless conversations on the phone, we became inseparable. I don't think either of us had planned to meet the love of our life that night, but fate played its hand well and God helped us along. Larry likes to modestly say that he was her gift that night and she cannot help but concur that they were each other's gift from God. The rest, as they say, is history...
After that fateful night, things just took off for us very quickly. Here we are, a year and a half later, planning what promises to be the best day of both our lives. We now live together and we are proud to say that we are still the best of friends, and hope to carry that friendship with us through the rest of our lives.
