I wasn't able to get together with a professional photographer before the wedding so I had to do the pics myself at home.

So happy you're here to share in our day!
But should something happen to go astray,
Please help yourself to the contents within,
Wet wipe, hand lotion, and even aspirin,
If your skin feels dry, your hair out of place,
Your hose have run, or whatever the case.

Use only what you need and leave the rest,
It may also be useful to another guest,
We've put this together to help you along,
Now get yourself out there before the next song!

Compliments of the newlyweds!

Time flies when you are in love… uh huh

Just about eight years I met a girl and she blew my mind … uh huh

My feelings for her grew stronger and stronger with time… uh huh

But something took hold of me and that’s when I started to see

That I love her…yes I love her…I love her

The years pass so fast we became best friends and I knew it would

Last… uh huh

Could talk about any thing, everything all the time

I just had to ask for her hand… uh huh

But something took hold of me and that’s when I started to see

That I love her…yes I love her…I love her

So here now we stand hearts open for you all to see… uh huh

Vowing to each other for eternity… uh huh

But now we’ve taken hold of it

We both have control of it and she loves me…yes she loves me…

And I love her too.

Jessica’s Vows

I, Jessica, take you, Kyle, just as you are, to be my husband, together we will share in the many adventures of this life.

My wish is we will discover a deeper and fuller life understanding of one another.

I will wake up each morning to see you next to me and give thanks to all that is for you are by my side.

As I watch you sleep, I will quietly smile each night in the thoughts of our love growing stronger as each day passes.

Kyle, I love you as my partner, my best friend, and from this day forward; my husband.

I will laugh and play with you and promise to remain young at heart.

I promise to give you the best of myself and to ask of you no more than you can give.
I promise to respect you as the unique and crazy individual you are and to realize that your interests, desires, and needs are no less important than my own.
I promise to share with you my time, and attention, to bring strength, imagination, and fun to our marriage.
I promise to keep myself open to you, to be willing to face challenges and make changes in order to keep our relationship alive and exciting
throughout the seasons of our lives.

Kyle, I give this ring as a symbol of my love that is complete and endless.

This ring is a symbol for me and all that see it of my commitment to us.

From this day forward, you shall not walk alone.

My heart will be your shelter and my arms will be your home, today and throughout our tomorrows.

I love you.

Jessica, I love you.  I shall be your constant and best friend.  These things I give to you today, my hand, my heart, my love and soul will be yours for all eternity.  I promise to cherish and respect you, to care for and protect you, to comfort and inspire you, and to listen to what it is you need the most in times of peril and joy.  To this end I, call upon all present to witness that I Kyle take you Jessica to be my wife.  Today I give myself to you in marriage and for always.

Jessica, with this ring I open my future with yours.  For anything we dream, we can make come true together, and just how your finger fills the void in this ring you fill the void in my life.  In your eye’s I see my reflection, my commitment, affection, and undying love to you.  I present you with this ring.

For my princess,

Blessing of the Hands (read by Arnie)

Jessica and Kyle please face each other and, present your hands palms up, so that your partner may see the gifts you are offering to each other.

These are the hands of your best friend, young and strong and full of love for you.

These are the hands that are holding yours on your wedding day as you promise to love each other today, tomorrow, and forever.

•These are the hands that will work along side yours as together you build your future, as you laugh and cry, as you share your innermost secrets and dreams.

•These are the hands that will passionately love you and cherish you through the years and with the slightest touch will comfort you like no other.

•These are hands that will wipe tears from your eyes countless times, both tears of joy and tears of sorrow.

·     These are the hands that will comfort you when you are sick or console you when you

are grieving.

•These are hands that will give you strength when you need it.

And lastly, these are the hands that even when wrinkled with age, will still be reaching for yours, still giving the same unspoken tenderness with just a touch.

Friends and family of Jessica Goodpasture and Kyle Ensminger, welcome and thank you for sharing this special day.  We have gathered today to celebrate the blending of two lives.  As family and friends, each of you has played some part in bringing them to this moment and in various ways will continue to support and contribute to their relationship.  We solemnize this unique time in their lives and make it meaningful by entering into it with a feeling of respect for their deep commitment to each other.

MAIN BODY:  (Judge)

Jessica and Kyle, Marriage is going to give you a whole new way to share your lives together as you stand to face the world hand in hand.  Marriage makes burdens lighter because you divide them.  Marriage makes joys intense because you share them.  And marriage makes you stronger so you can be involved with life in ways you dare not risk alone.  Remember that together, you have the power to conquer all obstacles.

Happiness in marriage is not something that just happens.  A good marriage must be created.  In the art of marriage the little things become big things.  It is never being too old to hold hands.  It is remembering to say "I love you" daily.  It is never going to bed angry.  It is at no time taking the other for granted, the courtship shouldn't end with the honeymoon, it should continue throughout the years.  Look upon each other's perfections with joy, and frailties with understanding; and forgive yourself and each other those weaknesses you cannot love.  Marriage is doing things for each other, not in the attitude of duty or sacrifice, but in the spirit of joy.  It is having the capacity to forgive and forget.  It is establishing a relationship in which independence is equal, dependence is mutual, and obligation is reciprocal.  It is forming a circle that gathers the whole family.

(Reading by Jessica’s Uncle Arnie)

(Exchange of personal vows)

(Exchange of rings)

Old Apache Blessing (Author unknown)  (Judge)

Now you will feel no rain, for each of you will be shelter to the other.

Now you will feel no cold, for each of you will be warmth to the other.

Now there is no loneliness.

You are two bodies, but there is one life before you, and one home.

As you have each other’s hands, looking at one another, you will see the road you traveled to reach this---the hour of your happiness.

It stretches behind you and the future lies ahead.

A long and winding road, whose every turn means discovery, old hopes, new laughter and shared tears.

May beauty surround you both in the journey ahead and through all the years.

May happiness be your companion and your days together be good and long upon the earth.

The adventure has just begun!

I now pronounce you husband and wife.

JESSICA, you may now kiss your groom!

Flasks for some of the drinkers, and flips for all the girls to wear at the reception, with a poem attached.  All the goodies will be put into a tote bag my mom made and embrodiered their names onto the front of.  All the girls got Nicole Miller robes in pink with their initials embrodiered on the front, a hankerchief with their names and title in the wedding party, also made by my mom, and a necklace made by my aunt.

Flip Flop Poem:

Soon at the altar Kyle and I will meet

For standing up beside me, you are very sweet

So if you bought new shoes to match your dress
Your feet will surely feel a mess
But don't sit down and admit defeat
Kick off your heels and enjoy this treat!

The guys all got Relic watches with their monogram engraved and our names and wedding date on the back.  They also got handkerchiefs.
