I ordered these from Global Rose.com and they came in today (thursday) for my sat wedding. I have 125 deep red roses and 125 ivory roses. The picture is of them in the buckets getting rehydrated:)
She was meant to be mine:) After I got engaged which was April 17 2008. I went with my sister one Friday and we went shopping at a Davids Bridal.. I know I know be prepared for terrible customer service. With me being in the Bridal business back in the day I have very high standard on how a bride should be treated. We walked in and had no appointment and the sales lady helped us out right away. Yeah great service:) After trying on about 7 gowns of what I thought I liked The sales Rep brought me this gown and honestly I wrinkled up my nose and thought ok I will at least try it on. I fell in love with it. Problem being it is a discontinued dress and the only one in the store during of course the 99.00 and up sale. I did not want to buy it that day since I really wanted my mom to see it but I was scared it would be gone and at 399.00 originally 1200.00 I went with my heart and walked out of the store leaving her behind. Months go by and Kevin and I are preparing for his sisters wedding which was in Aug of 08. I sort of got my bridal fever again and went shopping with a friend of mine and we went back to the same Davids Bridal. What a surprise but my dress was still there. Was that my sign that I have to have it..HMMMM still no mom.. I tired it on again and fell in love all over again. I knew this was the dress. So I went to work and emailed my sister and told her the dress was still there and that her and my mom had to come down and go shopping with my problem again I could not go for 2 weeks Kevins sisters wedding was the following Sat and only time my sister, mom and niece could go is on saturdays. I took the chance and left the dress again for the 3rd time:( Well so far great service at Davids Right?? Well that was all about to change one Tuesday evening. I went shopping with one of my nieces yes I do realize I am againg myself in this post. But she was going to college and working near me so I thought we could get together and I would show her the dress. We drove in rush hour traffic finally got to Davids walked in and I was so excited to show and try on the dresses for her. This is where Davids customer service went down the toilet. Walked in the greater sitting at the desk asks me if she could help me. I said yes I have a dress here that I want to try on for my niece and that I have my sister and my mom coming down the following Saturday. She looks at me and states there is no one to help you at this time with your dress! WHAT???? They were not busy at all. I told her that I dont need any help and that I worked at a bridal shop before. She said sorry that is store policy that someone must help you.. Which is so not true. I then stated ok when would you have someone available to help me out. She said not this evening we are booked. it is 5:30 on a tuesday night and you are booked until 9?? I dont think so. I was so upset that I ended up going to another Davids Bridal and told them about my experience and how they were more busy then the other store and that they still took the time to talk to me and help me out. Long story The other Davids Bridal got the dress in for me from the other store. I called the original store and complained to them about this lady. The district manager called the original store and told them they had to release the dress to the other Davids store and the girl ended up getting fired. Finally my mom got to see the dress and I purchased her. so my 399.00 dress was on sale for 350.00 they also threw in my gown preservation for free since I had such a horrible service at the other store. Here is my beauty and I can not wait to wear it on Sept 19 2009
Sorry this is not picture of me. I had some but Kevin kept looking at my camera so I had to delete them.
